I always thought of choosing a band name as an art form, does anybody have good ones that don't already exist?

I like my friend's ideas: Love the Rollercoasters and Small Bodies Big Faces

Coming up with good band names is tough. Getting band members to agree on a name that everyone likes is even tougher!

I've got a couple names squirreled away that I think are pretty good, but I hope you don't mind if I keep them to myself for now. 8)

Your right ive heard alot of good bands whose names suck.there has been a few threads on this already, and I think on the last one the guy decided on the Skunkapes, I think the Pussycat Dolls is already taken as well.
I think the muddsnakes might be a catchy name

Yeah, tell me about it. I thought up the name "Civil Disturbance" back in the 80's and a band from the 90's took it. I wrote to them and told them I was glad they got it cause they deserved it. I would have never lived up to that name. They are doing the stuff I dreamed of but somehow wound up doing acoustic stuff. Whatever, bands usually change names as they go along so don't put too much into a name.

Check them out if you have a chance.

Might help to know what genre of music you guys play. You wouldnt want a name like weapons of mass disfunction for country music or spilt milk for R&B.
