Good for Green Day!! I wouldn't give in to those a-holes either. Their sales will be just fine without Wal-Mart.

WalMart is awesome. They'll sell guns, beer, and cigarettes, all of which are things that could kill you or someone else, but god forbid they sell a CD with a four letter word in it...

I just hope more bands, artists, and labels start doing this because unfortunately WalMart has become one of the world's largest CD sellers...

My understanding after seeing Green Day on the Colbert Report is that the band refused to release a CENSORED version of the CD as any CD sold in WalMart has to be the CENSORED version...

I remember back when GNR Appetite for Destruction came out in the 80's Wal-mart didn't carry it either for the same reasons. Then afer they saw how huge the sales were on it they gave in. Same with this just a different band.

Well, I hate Green Day, so that's good because I don't have to see their album when browsing the music section. :-]

I think we should ban Wal-Mart. It doesn't matter if you like them or not...

It's the point....

Maybe someone will start banning the sale of guitars(fender) because they make people happy with music...

Maybe Walmart should worry more about treating their employees and vendors fairly and keeping lead out of some of their Chinese made products instead of pushing their own set of "moral values" down peoples throats.

Parents should be paying attention and raising their kids, not Walmart.

Hell yea man!! It's great how the chewed up our Country with asphalted land and abandoned buildings they planned on doing nothing with. But hey, who needs farmland or parks when we have billions of acres of asphalt, dead space, and a Miley Cyrus CD.

Didn't seem to slow down their sales any...two hundred fifteen thousand in three days isn't too shabby.

Good for them...The new album is pretty impressive, and I am looking forward to catching their live show supporting it. The reviews of their secret San Francisco shows were universal in their praise. They are definitely firing on all cylinders right now.

They've come a long way since Dookie.
