Just curious about items people have bought from Fender (i.e hats, collectibles, clothing, etc.). Which ones you enjoyed, which ones not. I am looking to purchase on of the Fender® Custom Shop Dia de los Muertos Fedora, but am not sure how the sizes listed translates to actual hat size. I have emailed Fender and hope to have a response soon. I don't want to pay that much for a hat and have it not fit.
I am also looking for some place where I can purchase the Fender Mersey boots.
For me, Fender is it, man. I own vintage Fender equipment as well as modern and what can I say.....Fender is just, well.....Fender!

I bought the chrome Zippo lighter. It works like it should and lots of people keep asking me if I want to sell it, believe it or not. FWIW, it has become a naturally reliced lighter too.

I've got a couple of T-Shirts, and a zippo lighter but that's about it. Oh yeah and an enamel pin shaped like a guitar pick from the "Fender Players Club" about 10 years back. It's all marketing.

Gil,
TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER! Yep, I understand. I am just trying to figure out whether I want to take a chance on buying a hat when I really don't know what "Large/XLarge" means in terms of actual measurements. IF it is one made for American Markets then it might be fine. If it is made for sale worldwide irrespective of country with some "generic" sizing, it might wind up in the hands of my 9 year old. ;-)

Ha - I know what you mean. Feel like a sucker paying to advertise someone else's product on my bod.

However: I won a competition on this Forum and got a shopping spree at the online store. I picked up some Tees and some polo shirts as well as a bundle of Fender books.

Very happy to wear that clothing!

Cheers - C

I'll wear clothing supporting products that I use. What I don't do is wear branded items just because they are cool (ie: I don't use Marshall amps, so I don't wear a Marshall T-Shirt).

Ok, hats - I can wear a 7 3/4 Military Beret; I take a X-large Kangol Wool Cap.

I've got a now discontinued Fender Pick Hat - it fits like a glove - it is a L/XL Stretch Cap like this one http://www.fenderusa.com/store/enter.php?product=9106010306&department=clothing_headwear&node_id=2:4

The rest of my hats all have adjusters in the back - one size fits none comfortably

I think that they are sized for the American market :P

Hope that helps,

Through the years, I've accumulated a pretty good stash of Fender bling and hats, shirts, coffee cups, a clock, a lamp, coasters and this...
