its not a fender but close.
over the weekend i asked my dad if i could go to the guitar store he said sure. the salsman said would you like to try out anything. i picked up a used squier strat and played sunshine of your love for my dad and he was so impressed he bought me that and a marshall mg10cd. its awsome and then my dad tells me the first time i preform in front of more than 20 ppl i can get a fender.

i'll get pics after i change the pickguard because the one on it is cracked, warped, and i dont like the off white cover.

cool you finally got your electric. and a fender family instrument too!

i wish my dad or mom would buy me an electric. whenever we go to the guitar store and i play for them my dad stares into outer space (or glares at the kid with the nosering and tatoo). i have to buy all of my own stuff and even then they aren't happy with me buying something. :?

oh ya and if you want that fender play for everyone during your next family reunion or something like that 8)

Nice. thats really cool of your dad. I got lucky, and my dad payed for half of my mexican strat. Thats the amp I have too. Its really nice for its price and size. My only complaint on it is its lack of a a two channel eq, but other than that its great.
