Niki, I've been keen to sample some of that gentleman's products ever since you first mentioned him many months ago. However, everytime I have some cash in my pocket I seem to blow it on something else.

For example, a couple of hours ago I suddenly bought myself a nice Axminster planing machine:

That's a £441 machine in good nick for £150. A tedious drive to collect, but I couldn't stop myself.

We could drop round my drummers house and have a go in his smithy. Very talented man our Rob. He just built something very similar to this

Or we could pop round the singers workshop and measure the intonation offsets on one of your guitars. I've been discussing the bone project with him as soon as i download strobosoft were setting about measuring the offsets for my guitar. Were even partway through designing a new nut/tool to intonate the low frets for the purpose of taking measurements. Having trouble working out how to set slot heights on a permanent tool though.
