Do you have any recommendations for a good fuzz pedal?

I just got Pedal #1 (see signature) but am still shopping. My teacher suggested that, given that I listen to a lot of 60's psychedelia and bands like The Hives, maybe I need a fuzz pedal next.

Haven't actually tried any yet or checked out any YouTube videos but wondered if you know of any that I should include on the short list?

(Brad, please let me know if this belongs in the Amp forum instead.)

I use a ProCo RAT, although it's more of a distortion/fuzz.

I've used a MXR classic 108, its pretty good. I currently use a fuzz face and love it.

Ellen a friend of mine makes a great fuzz called 'the mosquito'. I swear by it. Infact i've never heard any fuzz go from such levels of aggression to really warm mellow fat before. It is hard to use but teaches you to use guitar controls to change sounds. Knobs for octave fuzz volume, tone on octave fuzz, regular fuzz volume. Levels of fuzz are down to the guitar volume.

The brit face pedal looks good. I must get round and try it. Notice prices are a bit more real world than most manufacturers, it doesnt stop billy gibbons enjoying them.

They are available on ebay...keep an eye out for used ones, cause they don't come around too often. Even GC carries them online... or you can get them direct from Keeley. $209.00

King of the FuzzFace clones. Does Germanium, silicon or both, and tonally it smokes the Dunlops. I think he has some video demos on youtube.
