Okay don't freak out or anything. I just noticed that on the Gibson website they are doing a tour of the Gibson factory. The only reason I'm bringing this up is in the hope that someday Fender will do the same thing and show us inside the Fender factory. I would love to see the step by step process that goes into making a Fender.
Here is the link to the Gibson tour.

As I recall Fender already has a virtual tour from inside the Corona and Encenada factories.

Despite your considerate warning, I fear this news is causing me to freak out.

Thanks, I didn't know.

I still would like a little more in-depth look at how it all comes together both in the US and across the border. I would even like to see some of the people who work on the line everyday to build 'em. Maybe like an employee of the week.

There is a Flickr album of someone who toured the Ensenada factory, I believe. They get very in-depth.

Fender is more hand made. Less machines. I hope both factories only took their masks off for the pictures. That is very dangerous work without the proper protection including the hands.

Have to give credit to all the people that do that day in and day out.

Great work!

Quite a bit goes into buidling a set neck guitar with bindings an capped top not a veneer blank.
