Almost everything I hear still inspires me in one way or another.

Initially, the first two songs that I remember thinking "Wow, I'd love to be able to play guitar so I could play that" - were...

- I Want You To Want Me (Cheap Trick)
- You Make Lovin Fun (Fleetwood Mac)

Both of which I still like, but they're by no means monster guitar songs. Back then, they were the ones that light the flame though.

Jimmy Page! I started saving up for my first guitar after listening to Zeppelin I & II (both were in my parents' record collection).

Andy Summers from the Police was also a big inspiration early on. I loved his more textural style of playing and the interesting sounds he pulled from his Telecaster...

John Deacon from Queen. I still am amazed when I listen to his bass work on the early Queen albums.

I was inspired by Billy Corgan and Smashing Pumpkins Album Siamese Dream. I've long since abandoned Billy and the SP. But the guitars on that album blew my mind. It was like my Appetite for Destruction which in my opinion is one of the best guitar albums to date.

The tones, the arrangements, the solos perfection to me.

I was inspired mostly by Jimmy Page. But for the last four years or so since, I've been inspired completely by John Frusciante to take myself to that level I always try to reach inside my self and to just be as creative as possible as much as possible.

Jimmy Page inspired me to play the Guitar and my influences are Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Buddy Guy so my style of playing has a heavy blues influence.

originally i'd say jimmy page, but at that time it was as much cos i thought the guy was cool as his guitar playing. i thought hendrix was uber cool as well. couldnt believe it when he died, like how the hell did he do that?

this time round, i just want to play and be as good as i can be. been a lifeline lately.

A band called Audio Adrenaline inspired me to play guitar back when I was 9. I didn't actually get a guitar until I was 11, and I hardly played it until I was 13 but that's where it started. I felt like I was losing interest in guitar until I heard Stevie Ray Vaughan about a year ago. Since then I've been practicing my butt off and really getting it to it. I've always liked Strats, and my first guitar was a Strat, but I favored Les Pauls for a while until I dusted off my Strat after first seeing him (SRV). I mean I literally ran from the TV (where they had a show about SRV on) to my room and pulled out my Strat before the credits had stopped rolling.
