I don't think that my 335 has been out of the case in over a year. :?

I have a 1965 Univox "Lawsuit" guitar (es-335 copy) and i couldn't imagine not having it in my lineup. It has the second best action out of all my guitars...of course my Strat has the best. But none the less it's just a joy to play.

Can you post a pic? I had a cherry red Univox ES335 copy with the scooped headstock. It was stolen and I was devastated, but that event led to my first Fender, a new '71 Mustang.

I have an Epi Dot that seems to stay in the gig bag. Would like a Sheraton II.

BRING BACK THE FENDER ESPRIT !!!.

I love my discontinued ES-347. It uses similar hardware as BB's 'Lucille', but it has F-holes. It has a stunning sound and look, with gold plated pickups and an ebony neck.

Wow. Very nice. What does the micro switch do? Coil tap?

Last year I came across some inexpensive resonators, and I had wanted one for a long time.
I had given up on ever getting one due to the price, but suddenly saw cheaper ones everywhere--I wasn't happy with any of them, but during my travels to look for resonators I started looking at archtops as well. I tried semi hollows and hollows.

I found that I got a different sound with the trapeze tailpieces, so I was looking for a hollow--which normally has a trapeze--or a semi with a trapeze. I came across several possibilities, and finally an Ibanez AF95 spoke to me, and I got it.

I love the difference in tone I get. I play it differently due to its size & shape & tone.

And to think 5 years ago or so, I wouldn't have given one a second look. Now I love it.

i'll play along , a Barney Kessel Custom double cutaway guitar is a good playing and sounding electric hollow body , but very expensive.

'Have long been happily pusuing a balanced guitar collection which can address a wide variety of music and moods.

Therefore, in this opinion, any or all of semi-hollow, classical, flat top, jazzbox and travel guitars can be considered as desirable potential or actual members thereof.

I used to have an old Harmony hollow body but I gave it to a friend who was trying to learn to play the guitar.

It's a great all around guitar, actually. With the mini 'buckers, it could easily handle pretty much any style one wants to play, even surf instrumentals, whereas my Ibanez is really only good for jazz and blues (but I don't love it any less). It stays in tune pretty good, even when I use the Bigsby.

My main axe is my Ibanez AS103 BM-ABR. I almost bought a 335 until I found this one. After I played it I couldn't justify the 335 price tag. This guitar will do anything. I love my strat too, but I find myself using this one most of the time. The one at the bottom is also an Ibanez, an AK75 with upgraded Golden Age pickups and strung with flatwounds. A real "jazzbox". It's not as good as the AS but I still like it a lot. I'm pretty impressed with the Artcores as far as hollows and semi-hollows go. A good bang for the buck.

Hello Downward68,

Fender produced these Starcasters in the latter
half of the 70's decade, I hope they make em again.
That'll be my next semi-hollow body. 8)

Cheers.
