In the land of Orville, I did some yard work today.

I had a couple of cold ones with dinner.

One I mixed with lemonade (for a shandy, I think that's what it's called).

Oh, by the way, thanks for posting the Question to Mike E about that 1953 prototype. Good idea, man! kudos

Not a lot here in WV tonight - ate some pizza with the gf, watching some TV - getting our stuff ready for vacation this week - hope I hit the powerball tonight!! LOL

Had a productive day though - got the '75 out and did some work on it, new strings, played with the pick up height - I now have a better answer for the question that was asked a few weeks ago, about whether or not vintage is better, or why we like vintage - pick up my '75, play it through my Marshall or my '66 Bassman, and theres your answer friends!!

Wellsir, I had a pretty good day deep in the heart of Texas. My wife had to work today, so I was on my own. Played on the Jazzmaster this morning before mowing the lawn. Then I went to the library where my wife works and had lunch with her. After that, I watched the new Star Trek movie for the second time (yes, I'm a big nerd). Then I hit the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium for a couple of beers before coming back home and playing on the Jazzmaster a little more. Now my wife and I are watching the National Geographic channel on TV. A pretty good day all in all. :)

It's been raining here most of the day - no yard work, even thou it needs it. :P

Drinking some Pepsi, tuning my VGStrat and will be noodling soon.

Quietly of course, since it's getting to be late.

Late start to everything today, as some heavy rains were here. I worked a bit on my project Strat (I will post a thread when it is done). My parents (who are in town) took my family to steakhouse for dinner. The last of the day was prepping a batch of chili to be cooked tomorrow, to go with the BBQ (chicken and ribs, of course).

Take care, guys...

Well it's almost ten in the morning and I am at work. Yesterday was a good day. I bicycled 19 km (11,8 miles) to and from (took a little detour). The weather was nice. Iceland ended up in second place in Eurovision song contest (http://www.eurovision.tv/ ), congrats to our "cousins" in Norway for the victory.

I'm thinking about leaving work early today. I have a lot of vacations days left that the company is pressing me to use.

All in all a good day yesterday and I hope for some of it to day. 8)

Sunday morning now where I am.

I can hear the church bells, so I won't be firing up my power tools yet. Lotta stuff to get done in the garden and some timber to tinker with.

I plan to be sampling some more of yesterday's beer purchase a little later in the day.

Ah yes: in the new Obama era even the UK doesn't have to get voted last anymore. (Does anyone know what I'm talking about?)

Cheers - C

PS If anyone sees Nikininja (around after his important evening yesterday), would you tell him to check his "bone" thread, please?

Though the quality of the song wasn't the only reason we were getting "nil points" several years running...

Anyhow. My wife was watching it last night. 'Fraid I had to leave the room and put some Zeppelin on the music box. Loud.

:D - C
