This may make me look stupid but what do people mean when they say jimmy page was sloppy

Page was sometimes sloppy in that he would hit some wrong notes here and there, or miss a bend, even in his standard solos. In defense of him, though, Page played with a daring lay-it-all-there approach that allows for a lot improv. So occassionally there were mistakes, but often the payoff was pure brilliance.
