I've been running a poll on my guitar strings website and it shows that 69% of guitarists play their guitar every day and 24% play 2 or 3 times a week.

What about you guys? I used to play every day, but find that as I get older i've slipped to the " a few times a week" category. :(

(and feel free to add to the poll! No sign-up needed. http://www.guitarstringguide.com)

To be literal, I play MY guitar maybe once or twice a week; I play others' guitars daily.

I play at least one of my guitars every day.

With all of my kids' activities, work and all that entails modern life I consider it my daily therapy.

Even if it's only for a few minutes I just need that "alone" time with the guitar to keep me sane.

I play everyday for 2 or 3 hours at the time unless the wife has plans or something else for me to do. Sometimes on the weekend its all day long into the night i'll give my guitars a good workout.

Hello Red Paul,

I strum a few tunes a day,
some days more intense studies.
some days just pick a little diddy.

Cheers.

I try for 2 or 3 "sessions" a day. A session might be 10-15 minutes long, or an hour or more. A lot depends on how my time is being spent, and on how my hands feel - I don't have the youngest ones anymore - so I sometimes have the desire, but the body doesn't want to go along.
