hi i have a friend bringing me a new guitar Telecaster on a plane this Friday,
the airline needs to know the LxWxH

can anyone tell me please those sizes like just in a gig bag and also the case, also has anyone traveled on Air Canada recently with a guitar i'd like to know how it went, like if you checked in or carried on, where there any added fees and so on

If it's an Airbus A219, 220, etc or Boeing 737, it should fit fine in the overhead. I've traveled with Fender tweed case, Gibson LP size case and also Gibson Custom Shop case that is larger than the LP. Don't let them check it in cargo. Just about all airlines will let you travel with delicate/fragile cargo of this type in the overheads. Even the ones that say you have to pay extra haven't charged us.
