Hello folks! I don't play much guitar myself but my dad's a Jimi Hendrix buff. It's his birthday in September and I've bought a 40th edition fender guitar but I'll need to have it tidied up. The logo is missing from the head - where do I get a replacement and how much? Also I'll have it completely re-strung. What are the best type of strings?
Thanks!

I would recommend d'addario or super slinkies.

Welcome to the Forum.

You'll need to contact Fender consumerrelations@fender.com to get instructions on how to get a replacement logo.

Personally I would try to find out what his favorite strings are.

And just for anyone else who's wondering, here's the legal route to a replacement Fender decal:

http://www.fender.com/support/faqs.php#q9

Lot of other handy info on that page too.

Cheers - C
