I don't really have a name for my Strat, however, my friend names all of his guitars. His Les Pauls are named Black Dog aka Blackie, and Kashmir. His Gretsch electromatic is Rosie or Scarlet, can;t remember. He had a Strat on layaway that he was already thinking up a name for but lost it when his car broke and he had to spend money to fix it. My lovely MIA Sunburt Strat Std. is named Ashlie.

I thought about naming mine after my Grandkids. It would work for now because I have 8 guitars/basses, however Grandchild #9 is on the way. I would have to buy another guitar/bass.

Now that's the best excuse I've ever heard for buying a guitar.

I should name my guitar. What's a good name for a Les Paul copy?

Maybe you'd have to buy 2 more. One that you would use forever and the rest to get your grandchildren started off on a lifetime of music!

I have a 2007 Gibson SG Special that my dad and I have customized with a semi-gloss finish, slightly worn look, and a bigsby B5 vibrato with a schaller roller-bridge installed. We named it Caine because he just got a Harley that he named Candi. :)

Only guitar that has a name is my Orange Gretsch - "Lucy"
I never did like the TV show, either

I do often refer to my Green Gibson SG Robot as "Stupid" because upon reflection that's what I was when I bought it.

None of my Fenders have names....maybe I need to work on that.
