If you could customize your guitar with any of the cool looks, hardware, and electronics, what would it look like?

An American Vintage Jazzmaster in Candy Apple Red with a pearloid pickguard, block inlays on the fretboard, medium jumbo frets instead of the vintage, oh yeah, and a buzz-free Mustang bridge !!!

I like to keep things simple. I would actually, leave my tele just the same. I just love it. It is a FSR. It has a natural finish. It is beautiful. I love it.

I have, and I now have my ultimate guitar - 98 MIA strat, paint stripped and vintage wood finish, JB Jr/Silver Lace/Blue Lace set up with custom splitter wiring, Sperzel tuners, blocked trem, and very well broken in from hundreds of gigs and countless hours of playing since I bought it.

I can afford pretty much any guitar and custom scenario I want - within reason. My first choice for life - custom strat. And I have my dream guitar now.

I have a lot...

1. Gibson ES-335 12-string with Gibson 57 classic pickup with chrome Gibson style tuners with a natural finish... very basic

2. Fender Telecaster with 2 P90's, 3 way switch, 1 volume and 1 tone knob, white with black pickguard, maple neck and locking tuners

3. Same thing as above but with a Bigsby, black on black and a Strat neck

4. Stratocaster with a single P90, no tremelo, locking tuners, 1 volume and 1 tone knob, maple neck, white with no pickguard

5. Same thing above but with a tremelo

6. Telecaster 12-string, 2 DiMarzzio PAF humbuckers, maple fingerboard, 2 volume and 1 tone knob

7. Gibson ES-335, 2 EMG's, ebony finger board, flat balck finish, 2 volume and 1 tone knob

Probably a Stratocaster, but I'd do something nasty with it, like put 5 pickups, all ranging from 5K in the neck, to 8K or so in the bridge. I'd also like a custom switch to allow 3 to be selected at one time. Sounds insane, but I'd kind of like it.

Also, no HBs. I'm not a fan of them in Stratocasters.
