D'Addario Jazz Medium Gauge, replace the E,B,and G with .014, .018, .026p.
for bass Roto-Sound Dropzone when I can or what ever is available otherwise.

I tried some Ernie Ball strings on my friends Affinity that he needed to be restrung so i restrung it for him and he wanted 10s so i put some on

I use the GHS 009 S.S. Precision Flat wounds the E,B,G are plain steel and D,A,E are flat wound

Ernie Ball REgular Slinkys off and on for 35 years. Experimented with many other things, some quite sexy... but I keep going back to EB for tone and reliability.

ADD NOTE: If you're really open to adventure, try Ernie Ball Earthwound acoustic guitar strings on your Strat. Now THAT's TONE!!!!. (couldn't bend strings worth a dang but WOW for the tone!
