I have been thinking about EMG’s in my paisley for years..Just recently I found some tones with the stock P/ups I really like and have been rethinking the change.I have been Running the Marshall and a fender sidekick together with a bunch of reverb a touch of delay for a big dreamy Strat sound on the stocks. Anyway great collection Paisley strat thanks for the pix…..Bill

I have 2 Strats that have EMG pickups, and I like them a lot. They have a very nice, smooth tone. It is a great set up for live or recording, with high output and very low noise. They don't have the typical Strat sound, but pretty close. But with a rounder, fuller tone that is more hi-fi sounding.
I currently own pickups from DiMarzio, Seymour Duncan, Duncan Performer, EMG, Fender, GFS and of course stock ones. All very nice, but EMGs just have that strong clean tone that can't be beat. IMHO
