How does the new J 45 sound when plugged in? Who's got one with electrics? I like the tone I get from my Taylor, but would be interested in any comparison.

Btw Jomo, that's some collection.

I sold my old Ovation and a Hounddog dobro to help pay for an ES 355. Probably a good decision!

I have a Takamine thats over 30 years old .It was my sisters guitar she used to play her folk music on .I have to say it dounds great my friend borrowed it to make a demo with and I did not see it for 2 years .I would live to get a taylor or a martin as I love playing acoustic but the prices are really crazy for a top notch one.I had a Fender acoustic and it was total garbage,I mean I have never even played a halfway decent Fender acoustic for as high on the chart they are for electric thats how low they are for acoustic.I dont think they even care.Remeber the acoustic tele and strat style guitars pure garbage.

Well, it's a toss up, depending on your preferences, but I would have to say that the following manufacturers top the list: Martin, Gibson, Taylor, Takamine, Yamaha, Guild, Ovation, High End Fenders, Recorders,
