How many of you play, any instrument, in a band part or full time?
I play trumpet in a jazz band, guitar is just a hobby. It's a part time deal since most stuff is canned here in Vegas anymore but we do get the occasional casino lounge gig and a convention here and there. Played a cruise ship for a week once too. That was a pretty nice deal.

The bands I've played with all play shows with multiple bands playing. And at the end of the night the bands just divide up all the money. Most the band has ever got was 175. It was a good night.

Used too but not in a long, long time. Just a hobby and release for right now.

One day it'll be..."we're getting the band back together!" 8)

Nope! In fact, I usually get asked if I can play, "Far, Far Away."

I don't believe it's tour wife Ceri! From what I can tell she supports your habits. I'm thinking it's the neighbor that left you the bone wrapped with a bow!!
You should crank it up and play them your version of "Hound Dog!!" 8)

The song request I keep getting is: Get Off And Shut Up!

Hmm. Don't know that one...

Somehow, Ceri, I suspect music has something to do with why your wife became interested in you to begin with.

Moreover, given you clear knowledge of many different musical interests, I suspect you could find something to play for your neighbors that would appease them.

They might come knocking, but probably not to complain, eh?

Of course, you appear to know Frizzle Fry dont you? maybe I should rethink my assumptions about you.

The only thing my wife has ever been able to cite as to why we're together is my making of a) bread, and b) cocktails.

My wife is big on opera: she sings Mozart and Puccini in Italian (in the shower). Unfortunately, I went through my opera phase decades ago and am far out the other side by now... :(

And Frizzle Fry was sheer chance, based on the taste of a previous girlfriend. You were absolutely right to be surprised I knew that one!
