I have always felt that every Beatles Album is great...not a bad one in the bunch, but saying Beatles is too easy.

Can't sort it out. Overload. Here are a few that come to mind.

Abbey Road - Beatles. Their greatest album by far, imho.

Beggars Banquet - Rolling Stones.

Zeppelin II - greatness equalled but not surpassed.

BB King Live - he's the real deal.

Riding With The King - that incredibly cool playing you hear is two greats, one who can still do it, and another who came back to it

Rumours - Dreams is the saddest song ever written, if you look past the buzz in the vocals, and the angry Go Your Own Way is a Strat solo because that's what Buckingham records with. They could never go back again.

Now wait a minute, that´s gotta be
"And don´t the kids just love it" by TV Personalities that I bought by mailorder 24 years ago because I mistook it for
"Marquee Moon", the first album by Television. I was utterly disappointed by the real thing when I heard it many years later. Couldn`t stand the vocals.
How about debut albums ? The Beatles recorded theirs in one day. Or the Stones ? That´s a good one too.
"You´re lying all over me" Side A by Dinosaur Jr. ? No, that was their second.
"Look smart!" by New Waver Joe Jackson ? Come on ! Everybody loves that one, even my grandmother .
"Can´t buy a thrill" by Steely Dan ? More music for old people.

You asked the wrong question. It should be: which is the best Little Feat album ?

"Sailin´ shoes" "Dixie chicken" or "Feats don´t mail me now" ?

Or the best Beatles album: pick one...

"A hard day´s night"
"Revolver"
"White album"
, well in my opinion it´s certainly not Der Sergeant.

The best Stones album
any album produced by Jimmy Miller

The best Stones album that was recorded by another group
"Shake your money maker" by the Black Crowes

More debut albums
"Nina Hagen Band" shame on you if you don´t know that one.
"Seconds of pleasure" by Rockpile, sadly their only one.
"Woodstock I" just kiddin´.
"Eagles" jsut kiddin´ again.
"The Velvet Underground and Nico".

That´s all for now folks, I´m tired of this subject. Can we have another topic please, waiter ?

Pop music is ----
