I'm finally moving into the correct century. With my B-Day in less than a week I have decided it's time for me to get a cell phone. As of Monday I'll have a Blackberry with unlimited everything!!!

This is at the request of my kids who think I really need to be in touch.

I had a cell phone for a while, but i let it go a few years ago. Can't say i miss it at all. i am probably the only person where I work without one. people give me a funny look when they ask for my Cel Number, and I say i don't have one.

i like the smart phones, but for me the least appealing feature is the phone itself, i like all the 'toy' features, like internet access though.

I already plan on getting a bluetooth. The Blackberry has VAD (Voice Activated Dialing) so it will be cool with the bluetooth.

Congrats. I think you will like it once you get used to it. Don't let it take over all your free time with all that unlimited stuff you have. As mentioned already, no texting/talking and driving; it can be a little distracting.
