Search google for 'audio interface' - you'll need something to convert your analog guitar signal to digital.

Built-in sound card.

The radio shack device is a simple converter jack.

I'll dig around for updates and see if that works.

I would actually consider getting a decent audio interface for use with AmpliTube Fender®. The problem is that the MIC/Line input jack on your computer's soundcard is not going to provide you with proper impedance, etc. In short, it won't behave like a real guitar amp's input stage does, so even if it works it won't sound right. As well, you will always have latency issues (playing something on guitar and hearing it a second off).

IK Multimedia does actually have some really reasonably priced USB audio interfaces that work wonderfully with AmpliTube Fender®. At $139 you can purchase AmpliTube Fender® Studio, which contains StealthPlug. StealthPlug is a really cool interface that provides you with a high-quality integrated guitar cable, headphone output and Riffworks T4 recording software. At $229 we have StealthPedal, which provides two studio-grade inputs, headphone out, and an integrated expression pedal to control all of your effects in AmpliTube Fender® just like a real guitar stomp box. As well, it can be expanded with another expression pedal and a double foot switch so you can even have a cool mobile computer pedalboard!

If you have any questions feel free to private message me and I will be more than happy to help.

Cheers,

Drew
