I'm ready to throw my gutair out a window. Na, I'd never really do that. But 4 real, can somebody out there answer my question. I can't find the answer anywhere and I'm going to loose my #$@*&!% mind!!!!Does the allen nut on a strat truss rod apply the pressure to the truss rod, or does the bolt it attaches to turn and move in another nut? ANYBODY, SOMEBODY?????????????

fr , bro , have'nt heard of that happening before i've always found the manuals and set up guide parts of the fender website to be helpful if those don't give you the answer then a local fender outlet should have a qualified luthier in house or at least access to one who could help and in a pinch i have called fender customer service they are always helpful and lastly there is the 'Ask Mike Eldridge Forum' he is a custom shop bro who is really good .

The Allen nut is threaded onto the end of the truss rod itself. There is no additional part between the nut and the rod.
