Ahhh.. So good.

It would be great if they unearthed some real hendrix at his best. I find these home recordings lack lustre. Jimi was a very definate person in the studio as his recordings show. The BBC sessions or crash landing whilst good dont compare with are you experienced, nevermind axis or ladyland.
Love the bloke. He's the only guitar superstar i've got time for but lets remember him for his best.

and man, whats up with Janie Hendrix? i hope Jimi knows his sister (head honcho of Experience, LLC whatever the hell) is totally exploiting his art for profits. that enrages me. there is probably a room's worth of material that has never seen the light of day because she is so selfish and greedy and won't just let his music fly free. she's gotta find any way to make a buck off of his name. man all he wanted was to have every human being hear his music and touch our souls, and i'm damn glad he felt that way.

Dunno i think Jimi was quite the businessman himself. All that make a name being silly then trying to be serious. He was just 10 years ahead.

I didn't Lose my mind, I traded it for this guitar.

His sister for those who dont know did not even know Jimi she was born after he died, and is his fathers kid from a different woman.Meanwhile his poor brother got screwed royaly as his father left everything to her and the brother is flat broke.His money was tied up for a long time in a court dispute which the family finaly won(good for them)but it burned me up whem I read an interview with his brother and how he has not recieved a pennt from anything.What a shame
