I may or may not go for a long walk today. I do know I'm going to watch some films, and put in some bass time.

I think we might actually do some jamming on the bass and drums today. It's too early now, since it's only almost 4:30 AM, though. :P

Shredding paper. It’s about about exciting as watching paint dry so I’ve got the TV on. So far shredding is more exciting. I bet all the metal heads would agree to that.

I just had the dog out in a light rain, before the heavier stuff rolls in.

I'm waiting for the car dealership to call me, when the service is completed on Mrs. Nylon's car.

Going for a long walk, then some films and bass time.

Watching the game, drinking a glass of wine, eating a slice of blueberry pie, and reading horror stories about performance, build, failures, lack of support, and meaningless warrantees for new otherwise nice laptops. Adding to that some are predicting the laptop is doomed to become a tablet in about four years from now. Why stop there? Make the tablet a cellphone. Uum. That’s crazy! Make the cellphone a watch. Phht! Make the watch a laptop.

Checking email right now, and doing some laundry.

Had a little red Burgundy, the first in some time, cooked up medium rare overnight marinated Teriyaki beef tenderloin seared on the stove in an old family handed down thick cast iron skillet for our first time, finished in the oven in the same skillet. topped with huge sliced local mushrooms the size and thickness of a small piece of bread and added to it were sliced onions, garlic. butter, sea salt, ground pepper, and rye whiskey, accompanied with Mrs. FSB’s mashed rutabaga in vinegar, sugar, ground pepper, salt and butter along with salted mini mixed spuds dressed in a basalmic concoction from the Italian deli. Mrs. FSB was a big help throughout.

Finished off with blueberry pie and ice cream.

I’m hiding my weighing scales for a week.

That sounds like you had a nice dinner. You could always go out and shovel a bunch of snow to burn off the pie and ice cream. :P

   You cracked us up. LMFO.
I have an etiquette question to ask you. Do you think it to be okay if I dress up with my toque at the dinner table?

Cheers!

Gotta love the fun factor, Marky. :D
I made a big purchase the other day. Amazon delivered a Lightning, USB 3 camera adapter that charges the iPhone (or iPad which Mrs. FSB has), and it comes with a head phone jack while taking the keyboard’s USB Roland UM ONE mk 2 midi cable.

I’m trying this while still searching out laptops. I thought I had exactly what I’m looking for when I found out the laptop’s screen was not bright enough for using outside. Phht!

Sounds good , huh? Well, I’m not sure yet. The Yammy will be hooked up with Garage Band which looks more intimidating (in some ways) than Cubase. No Plug and Play here. Phooey! Actually, it’s probably my keyboard setup, I’m a Midi rookie and I don’t have a clue at this moment. So, when I get time, I will have one more thing (Midi) to educate myself before I can play like Keith Emerson. Maybe, I’ll get to rub shoulders and talk Midi with fellow Canuck Paul Schaffer next time he comes to town.
From California I did get a seventh matching blue XLR cable for a floor drum also this week. That I think I can do. :D
While doing some setup, I ran across a forgotten unopened box of Schaller strap locks and buttons, ran upstairs to show them to Mrs. FSB and declared, “I found these downstairs. Looks like I need a new guitar to attach ‘em to.” Snicker.
