Checking email and all of that crap. I'm turning my schedule around a bit to get up earlier for Sunday. That's why I'm up now, instead of going to bed.

I guess I better feed the dog, and get things going for the day.

I'll have to go out later to get a few things at the store, and I'm going to get some Chinese for dinner. Right now, I might work out for a bit in the house. It's a bit too cold and windy to go out for a walk right now.

I'm getting things closed up for the night.
At sundown, I retired the colors giving it a quick salute. Pearl Harbor Day is about gone for another year. Please remember all of those who perished on this day, 78 years ago. Remember the 1,177 eternally entombed on BB39, the USS Arizona.

Nicely said about Pearl Harbour, Glenn.

I thank my lucky stars that I never had my ship(s) shot out from under me. The possibility and effects crossed and cross my mind at times when I thought and think of others on the sea, land, and in the air that were less fortunate than me. No matter the flag flown or era, I have strong feelings for those lost and wounded souls. They are all humans, and that means imperfections and yet there is a sharing and bond being brave providers under difficult conditions during good and bad times.

Were my father, who saw action and my mother, who served where they returned and shipped out, before I was born, casualties, I would never have existed. Passing sincere thoughts to family and friends of those who gave their best and contributed to a better place for us to appreciate are worthy of mention too.

Some things sadly will never change in this large and complicated world; but, at least we can remember the past and try our best to make improvements. Music can open doors, and we should not only listen to our music, but to that of others too.

RIP soldiers, sailors, airmen, and civilian casualties who have left politics and differences behind, and to those who also left those who still have a lot to learn.
Peace.

I'm planning on going to go for a walk later. I may or may not watch some films and put in some bass time, as well.

I wound up having an eventful day. I went out with my girlfriend for a long walk, we got some ice cream, and we did some shopping, and I got me some nice Sketcher work boots for winter. They're leather uppers, so I'll have to treat them against snow and such, so I got some mink oil spray that I'll have to deal with. I'll go ahead and do that outside on the back deck with some newspaper when it's sunny and apply that on them. It was a nice day, albeit cold, but it was sunny, so that warmed up the walk a bit.

Gotta love those ice cream walks. Up here we get our boots varathaned. Looks slick with our toque and helps with curling.

Today I started Christmas shopping, and since I accidentally walked into a used bookstore I left with a ton of stuff for myself. I ended up buying bilingual editions of Goethe's poetry, Faust, and a collection of Kafka's parables. I also bought a copy of Deliverance (because it was on display and only 4 dollars). Waiting for HARDKORE to show up and make fun of him. Hopefully he comes back after I read it. Shopping is totally hard. I'm counting the remaining days on the calendar.

It probably also helps with the hockey fights, so you can clean off the blood easier. :P

Not much right now, since it's been raining, and is going to for the next couple of days. I think we might do some more shopping.

 ROTFL. My laugh for the day. Hahaha.

Talk about protecting boots and shoes. I have my baby shoes bronzed. I’m thinking of putting it in my will to have my toque bronzed for the shelf, :P

Checking email and social media stuff now. I'm not sure what's on the agenda for today, yet. The weathers been crap, so I probably won't be able to go for a walk.
