Just checking out the goings on, especially after receiving Fender's ominous unknown new re-invented guitar thingamajiggy whatcha call it email. OK so I guess they meant it, wait until the 5th.
I did get a new unbleached bone nut in the mail today, guess I'll look to get the old one off the LP kit guitar later. Looking for a big difference over the plastic that came w/ the kit. But it's been about 6 months so it'll be a good time to look over the frets for level and touch up or re-crown those that need it.
Looking forward to this weekends F1 race, can't afford to go but I'll definitely be in my favorite chair watching.
I actually had to turn the thermostat to run the heat the last few days, it was nice weather and we need the rain. It will be back to normal by Monday(low-72, high-80) then another big cold front the following weekend. Looks like winter will make an early appearance this year.

Just dropped my son off at the E.D., again. He can't breath so they're giving him a one hour breathing treatment and then see how he does. Man, enough already! The poor guy can't get a break.

Sleeping on a mattress on the floor, eating crackers, creamy Havarti cheese, and green pepper jelly with a warm Grand Marnier and Ameretto in hand. The old frame is being replaced first thing in the morning, and a new head board comes at the end of the month, so rather than waking to a tear down in the morning, this was the solution.

Reminds me of a move we had across country. The moving van was late arriving so we slept on the floor in front of our new fireplace in our new apartment. Mrs. FSB wasn’t too cheerful, so I made it a like a picnic trip including wine and dinner on a blanket. Eventually, that worked; but, I was exhausted for my new job in the morning.

I might either go out for a walk, or watch a film or two, and put in some bass time. I do need to pick up some things at the store.

That sucks. Sorry, I missed this yesterday, Marky. Here’s hoping you guys are getting a well earned break from all of that.

Thank you so much, Paul.

I woke up this morning and the refrigerator door was open. The temperature inside the refrigerator was 72° and in the freezer it was 6°. I smelled that terrible odor of fried electronics so I closed the door and have been hoping for the best. After 30 minutes, the refrigerator is still 72° and the freezer went up to 12°. Not a good sign.

I'll be watching the refrigerator and figuring out what to do.

Thank you, Gary. I have to say that it's wearing me down.

Going to go for a long walk, then watch some films and put in some bass time.

I'm planning on going for a walk, then probably go to the store.

I'm checking email and social media stuff. It's been raining heavily all day, but I think it's supposed to let up later this evening, so maybe I can go for a walk.

We wound up going for a walk earlier, since the rain stopped, and got some ice cream. It's been awhile since we've been to that shop along the route to do that.
