I'm feeling good and resting up after a long week of doctors and procedures.
Monday: I saw my cardiologist, to review test results, and got a clean bill of heart health. :)
Tuesday: I had ingrown toenails on both big toes cut out. It was kinda funny. When the podiatrist injected the numbing agent I didn't flinch or make a sound. She was impressed and said I had a high pain tolerance when, the truth is, I have no feeling in both my feet. I let her in on my secret later.
Wednesday: I took my son to his doctor and picked up his medicine. Then, I went home to start the prep for my colonoscopy on Thursday.
Thursday: Colonoscopy  The thought of it is much worse that the procedure because of the anesthesia. The preparation was the bad part. Anyway, I had three polyps removed and will get the biopsy report next week.
Friday: Happy day. No plans just R&R. :D

That's good news at least about the cardiologist. Hopefully, the biopsy report will be as well.
Good to see that ticker of yours is performing up to par, Marky. That’s one huge step forward. As for the rest, you’re off to a great start. Discovery and early attention to those gremlins is a very good thing. Go get ‘em, Marky. You’re up at the plate. Now let’s cheer for a home run,

Thanks, FSB! I'm ready to knock one out of the park. :) I started learning "Europa" by Santana. There are a couple of tricky parts but it's not very hard to play and I think it's a beautiful instrumental. Memory is my biggest hurdle. I have to keep looking at the sheet music but, after I play it a few hundred times, I think I'll remember it. 8)

Since it's nice weather, I'm hoping to go for a walk later.

I've caught up on all my emails from a few days ago, got in at least an hour of playing time and now it's time for lunch. :)

You’ll nail it, Marky. As some of you know, I played guitar earlier in life, back with the other raptors, and then I put it aside for a period, came back but lost the song books now out of print, and I forgot more than I knew when it comes to those cherised old folk and rock songs. Oh, sure many can be found again elsewhere; however, before the monopoly of publishers took over, there was more choice of layout and often with different familiar chord arrangements, etc. So now those same compositions require a whole new learning and memory process. Phttt! Guess I’ll just sing the Blues. 8)
Meanwhile, I intended to put out some change and take a bit of a drive for concrete paint that I’d have to match, plus pick up some rollers and brushes. Looking for something else this morning I discovered some of everything tucked away for a couple of years, and I had just enough to complete the job plus just enough of some other paint to touch up the wrought iron railings. Don’t ya just love it when these things present themselves and save you cash when you least expect it. I do.

Sidewalk and railings complete in 84°F / 29°C weather. :D
Only a few itty bitty gotta dos outside and I’ll be good to go for some time. Then a wanna do. I want to move a few old patio bricks (replaced by a landscaper’s flagstone patio) to more of a BBQ staging area after I paint them from brown to grey like the sidewalk and patio. Wanna dos are much more fun than haveta dos. :P More rainy days coming up, and those are great guitar days. Another wanna do. :D

Wound up going shopping, instead of a walk, but that's OK, we were out for 4 hours walking around, and tomorrow I'll do my usual long walk, weather permitting. I scored a pair of Kenneth Cole black trousers that were originally $59 for $12 at Marshall's. You can't beat that, to where I'm stylin' while being broke AF. :P That's how I got my Orange head, when I had that. It was $1049 new, and I got it for $360, but then I wound up selling it for $500, which was cheaper than anyone else was selling a used one for, and bought an Ampeg PF-800 that was also deep discounted. Also, we finished filming everything for the upcoming music video, and now my girlfriend is in the process of editing everything.

Sometimes things line up well at just the right time. You did well with the Orange head. I know you were a bit tiffed when Fender released the Rumble 800HD, just after you acquired the Ampeg PF-800. Been there before.

Hey Paul, if you don't mind me asking, what A/V editing software do you use? I use Studio One for audio and I'm going to use my cell phone camera, at least for now, but I don't know of a really good, inexpensive software to use on my Win10 laptop. I did some research and found, "Movavi Video Suite is a complete solution for video production". It's supposed to be the closest thing to iMovie. Any recommendations?

It's great when things work out like that and nice to save some money. I'm really happy to read about much you're able to do compared to this time last year. :)

Yeah, what can you do? I was hoping they'd put that out a long time ago, but they didn't. I suppose at least they have one now. They'd also put out the 3rd generation of Rumble combos not long after I had gotten the 2nd generation Rumble 350 combo, not to knock that one, since it's a great amp, anyway. It's not like I'd want to sell it, in the first place.

You know, I don't remember what it is, since I don't have anything to do with that. My girlfriend does all of that. It was some sort of program that's connected with the internet, so she could upload videos to YouTube. I can't remember the name of it, and I don't have access to it right now.

I'm going to take a long walk, and then watch a film or two, and put in some bass time.
