Rolling outa bed to have breakfast, then I’ll continue to do a little digging and wood cutting to get the front yard spruced up with the planting of a spruce. :D

Too bad I can’t grow a Strat or a Tele.

Thanks, Marky.

It’ll probably be where the last hole is dug.

At least it’s not as tough as my friend had on his big grain farm. They had a tough time finding suitable well water. After using science, the latest technology, and drilling, a recommended dowser with divining rods came in to solve the problem easily. If that wasn’t convincing enough, a professional Hydro worker with electronics set aside did the same in front of our house.
Go figure.

Adding to scepticism I found this:

Maybe they can help in a day of climate change and drought.

Lucky dog. What a thoughtful owner. I’m being coaxed to take the wife out between the rainfall.

I'm impatiently waiting for my new monitors. They were supposed to be delivered today by USPS but it's already 5:30pm. I hope they come because I left my day open tomorrow to set everything up.

I did some shopping today, and now pretty much winding down the day, or night, if it were.

My monitors never arrived so I'll have to find something else to do.

I'm watching the day go by, as another thunderstorm rolls through. But that's ok. Image

I went for my long walk that I do on Sunday, but it got cut short because it decided to monsoon, and I got caught in it. Then after dealing with that mess, the rain stopped, and the sun came out like nothing happened, so I went back out to get something at the market, which I was prevented from doing previously, because of the rain, then like only 5 minutes from walking back to my house, it decided to rain again, and I got caught in it again, but not as bad. I think nature was determined to prevent me from getting a damned bottle of olive oil, that I forgot to get last night to use for dinner, but I did succeed with my mission. :P I managed to watch a couple of films, and put in some bass time, as well.

Umbrellas, rain suits, and rubber boots must be trending out there, Paul. Stay dry my friend.

Just got back from the supermarket after wrapping up my laying of sod for two days in 88° heat. It was time to replenish cold drinks that were chugged down in copious amounts with yardwork. Walking into that store was a cool relief and, as luck would have it, a lot was on sale for tomorrow’s Canada Day which is celebrated like America’s July 4th. Obviously. celebrations like this bring competition and consumer benefits. Consequently, steaks, Jalepeno cheese beef, bison, and Argentian shrimp burgers made the cut for the BBQ. Somehow, salad got thrown in the cart to offset the high calories. Oh, yeah and ice cream was on sale . . . so I doubled up. Somebody’s gotta eat that stuff. :P

You know, I had an umbrella the first time I went out, but it was useless, because the rain just was torrential, and blowing in sideways. The second time was kind of my fault, since I didn't take one, because I foolishly assumed there wasn't going to be anymore, since it was sunny out when I left the house, and I didn't see any obvious storm clouds. It's weird, I'd think I was still in Florida with the way the rain was doing like that. Down there, it could be pouring rain on one side of the street, and dry and sunny the other.

I know what you mean with the rain on one side. I was in Vancouver where it actually fell like a sheet with no wind. where I could pretty much stick my hand in and out of the downpour which I did,

What I think is funny, well maybe not, but in this neck of the woods we find it humorous, is where many people gather under umbrellas to fight the snow only to discover the wind is likely to set them straight. What we need is a collapsible aluminum umbrella. Mind you, lightning has it’s own idea about that.

Yeah, that's another thing you got to watch out for. Although, we don't get a lot of thunderstorms around here, with lightning. That certainly wasn't the case in Florida, though.
