We just got home from a late dinner and I'm about to call it a night. We had a good day. My son is doing better and he was out doing errands so I had a lot of time to play and record. I decided to play my SG because I love those Classic 57/57+ pickups. Tomorrow it will be back to the Strat. 8)

I'm going to go out and do some outside shots for the music video we were working on before.

We went out by the ocean and had coffee and breakfast and watch the sunrise. We were going to try to walk the beach before it was supposed to rain all day, but the rain decided to beat us to it. Tomorrow is suppose to be good weather, though.

Sounds like a nice way to start the day, Paul.

We have an appointment at noon to get a new Kicker amp installed in my son's Mustang. His old one fried out after 10 years of good service. I guess 1600W just isn't enough. :)

1600 watts? That's twice the power of my Ampeg PF-800 running at 4 ohms. I've actually wondered if those amplifiers that power bass in cars could be rigged up to play an actual bass through.

Considering something like 1 watt is a plenty average listening level for the average speaker integrated portable radio or similar, 1600 watts oughta do it.
FSB

Caution!!! Don’t use the headphone jack.

That's a good question. It's 1600W at 4Ω so maybe. The RMS is 800W but I'm not sure what that means. All I know is that it bumps like heck. My ears are ringing from the ride home. He has it powering a 12" Alpine Type R sub-woofer rated at 1500W.

Hey, Marky. Face that power house sub-woofer to the rear in a typical vertical position with the trunk open and you should increase your mileage. In fact, youse guys might never need GAS again unless you come upon a music store.

 That might work. I can feel the bass hitting the back of my seat. It's unreal and not for me but my son loves it so...

We're going to go back out and shoot more video footage for the video. We got some good footage before, but want to reshoot some scenes. Also, might get a walk in, as well.

I'm thinking about getting some dinner going here. Hunger is setting in.
