The wheat fields here produce a variety of local and ethnic breads.

Right now I’m chompin’ on some extra cheesy green onion and garlic bread. It has many names, and it sometimes includes other ingredients such as olives or peppers.

It is not flat bread. It is a loaf or buns. It is well known here as Fergasa. Elsewhere it may be called Fergosa, Forgoza, Fugasa, Faragosa or other and, while similar flat focaccia often sits alongside, the French make a flat bread called fougasse. It appears that all are related to the Roman panis foccacius.

Is one more Italian than the other? Can’t say. Jewish and Ukrainian bakeries also make it here. I get mine from Italians who have Filipino bakers.
But, dang! Is it ever good. :D
Ciao!

That sounds like fun, Marky, I’m sure your solo was good too considering all the practice you are getting in. :D

Watching cool new Hubble photos and the discovery that our galaxy is warped. Big deal. Just looking at this world can tell you that. All pretty interesting though. :P
FSB

I’m still waiting for Hubble to take photos of flying saucers. Who knows? Maybe, it already has.

Thanks, FSB. I played some slow mellow blues since the night was winding up. 8)

Been cleaning up after the LP build, cleaning dye jars, sorting scrap wood pieces, overpacking shellac jars. Also bought another bunch of Ebay CC resistors, so I been testing them all (several hundred) 1/2, 1 and 2 watts. I'm sure I have more than enough for the rest of my life. Kinda chilling today, little bout of food poisoning overnight so I'm not moving to fast.
I'm thinking I'll do my taxes tomorrow, been putting it off for a week already.

I'm going to have to go out in the crappy weather and do some grocery shopping at some point.

Got some tax forms in the mail. Every year they make changes (at least here in Canada) to the way they present the tax calculations (often showing little good reasoning or substantial benefit to either participant). Makes a great work project and comparison though.

Wouldn’t it be nIce if they could accept changes from us in the same way with the same gusto?

Wait? That would mean they’d have to work for us.
Time for a spot of tea and a taste of Boston Brown bread methinks. I wonder what the tax is on that. :P

I'm going to watch a film or two, and put some bass time in.

Went shopping for points from Mrs. FSB when Valentine’s Day shows up, I think I have the bases covered, and the steak is marinating. (I didn’t have any McDonalds coupons).
