Going for a long walk. I think it's been about a month since I've even done that. When I get back, I'll put in some bass time.

I'm just about ready to climb the stairs after a day and then some climbing the wall while trying to install the new AIO printer with Epson who failed to get it done, and turned me over to Microsoft when Epson's idea of using the Net download (over an older version CD) was Epson's preferred method. Long story short, after cleaning up the mess and searching for a solution, I skipped the guys who might ask for a cleaned and reinstalled OS, did my thing with the CD, added updates, and voila! A printout! No small feat considering it was VISTA for short term on the PC, iOS for two iPhones, and iPad, later to have Windows 10 or a Mac. Two days were left for a return, which would have presented a similar scenario. Phew! :D
But, later after I get some shuteye, I'll be getting a 23 pound turkey into a 20 pound turkey sized pan. Because of the way turkeys are grown fast, pounds do not relate to shape as they can be quite different. Looks like the tape measure comes with me next time or maybe I'll just buy a chicken.

The wife and I are starting to get our stuff together to pack in the car for the 13 hours drive back home. It was our Christmas and New Year’s celebration with our daughter in Tuscaloosa. A week early, but this is the only time we could make it up here for Christmas and New Year’s.

Glad you could spend time with Daddy’s girl, Glenn. That was nice. I know you and Mrs. Nylon had a terrific time.

Enjoy the rest of the season, my friend.

Right now we are cooking a 24 pound local bird in the oven, to carve up, to eat some, and to set a lot aside for later. It couldn't have been any bigger, and, when thawed, it just made it into the pan. Phew! I thought I might end up with one frozen drumstick. If I’m lucky I’ll get one cooked one.

Not much. The weather has been really bad today. I'll still have to go out later to get something for dinner, though.

Back in the day, because a regular theatre was difficult for my wife’s aging grandmother, we used to take her to the drive-in movie which she loved. Being short, we’d have her sit up front while Mrs. FSB stretched out in the back. Sometimes, Grandma and I would be the only ones still awake to watch the end of the show.

I have to go to do some shopping errands and get something for dinner. It's not raining, but I'm not sure if we're going for a walk, or not. My girlfriend is going to be busy finishing up what's going to be a new album. She had too much material just for an EP, and didn't want to sit on it. This is going to be a major thing that's happening, which I'm not allowed to talk about. I still have to put bass down on one more track, as far as that's concerned.

I used to go to the drive-in movies with my older brother, when I was in my early teens. That was back in the mid 80's, when they were still around. We used to watch all kinds of horror or action movies, usually. He'd also have a cooler full of beer, so yeah, there was that, too. :P I probably drove him nuts with my Led Zeppelin obsession, since that's all I wanted to listen to on the tape deck. Actually, he did like them a lot, but his favorites were The Doors, and Pink Floyd. That's probably why I've heard "Dark Side Of The Moon" is the one recording that I've heard on every format, with vinyl, 8-track, cassette, CD, and MP3. That was his favorite album, which he did have on those early formats.

It was very nice. It's hard to believe that she's 24, and going for her Master's Degree in Vocal Performance.

This morning I'm getting into the mail our neighbor took in for us while we were up in Tuscaloosa. Typical mail, bills, and a bunch of junk mail.

Haven't been on in a while, not much going on. I haven't done much work on the LP kit project lately, although the neck has been attached and the guitar is ready for the last few steps in the finish process and final assembly. Wishing everyone a safe happy healthy Christmas & New Years.

Going to go for a long walk, since the weather's decent, then put some bass time in, and maybe watch a movie or two.

Trying to get over this dang cold before Christmas. I've been playing/learning Christmas songs.

All the best with that. Paul. Good for you two, :D

Aha! Your brother and I were alike. Both the Doors and Pink Floyd were in my ‘64 Pontiac Quad 8 Track right beside the Doobies, Santana and Buddy Miles, and much more. Usually only great recordings were considered, and Dark Side Of The Moon was a perfect match. Some albums were made specifically for surround sound, but those later trickled down to two track. Although, not in my collection, I can say Led Zep can boast that. “The Song Remains The Same” was mixed with Quad in mind. Then we lost surround for two track convenience? :? Sure it returned for home theatre, and limited CDs, but, with music, surround popularity has now taken a back seat, and we had a radio station that was an early adopter of 4 channel sound with Sansui encoding and my Technics quad receiver! Today we have satellite two track. That's a step up. Mark one up for 8 track over MP3. I guess that’s the way the signal bounces. :P
