Let me know how it turns out. I've never actually tried the spaghetti squash (that I remember) with the sauce like that, but I've heard it does work rather well. I've definitely done the green beans, with the French cut ones seeming to work the best for that, at least for me. I've also seen people make pasta shapes with zucchini squash, but I've never tried that. I have put zucchini in my sauce, though.

That reminds me of my first set of wheels when I and a friend lifted the back 6 inches and lowered the front 6 inches of my black ‘63 Comet. Now that was fun rounding a curve. At least you could see over the hood.

LOL ah the good ol' days. we always went with the air shock in the back route and then the cheap coil spring compression things in front.

really funny part is the shocks I removed from this car (I bought it this summer) were ..........yep, air shocks.

the speaker cab he had in the trunk was impressive. makes a great house for the barn cats to hang out in now days.

What I really miss is changing the bulbs under the dash every other month (like printer ink cartridges), and blowing fuses only to find the one you need is not handy because your spares are used up or if the right one is available it’ll be the only one, and you can bet it will likely burn out immediately after replacing the bad one; but, most of all it’s finding that hanging wire with no clue where it goes, or a dropped screw that bounces around and rattles incessantly where it can’t be located. It will still be there when the car is sold or junked.
Of course that’s a great reason to lift the back instead of slamming a car. So the screw will roll out.

Oh we won't even get into "hanging wires". as I mentioned the speaker box, well one of prev owners had done a very nice job of wiring up a system in the car. except that when they did it they just cut the factory system wires and left them.
at some point the good system was removed as well, and those wires were cut and left.
additionally one of the prev owners had swapped in an old carb 350 so all of the computer sensor wires under the hood were disconnected and bundled up.

pretty sure I have removed a couple pounds of wire so far with much more to go.
I am hoping I don't end up completely rewiring the car but it seems like a good possibility. LOL

I’ll eat green beans, and I agree the French cut ones (you have good taste) are better; however, I like lemon or garlic and butter and/or a little almonds, but I can see where the sauce would work. I know zucchini works yet I’ve never heard of the pasta shapes. I guess that’s to trick you into thinking it’s pasta. I don’t fool easily because I can walk to Canada’s biggest Italian food distributor and their neighbourhood market and wine store, and some of the pounds I’m shedding is pasta related. As far as whole wheat pasta or anything whole wheat “fuggedaboutit”. Wheat, soy, and corn grows in this area. Rye bread rules here as does Crown Royal’s headquarters. Along with a few other motivated non-essentials, whole wheat is a big hype like soy and corn (which I like at times). The more I know the less I want to. Multi- grain maybe. Now Boston or Maritime real brown bread is another story. Bring it on. Yum. YMMV

If I get the spaghetti squash I’ll remember to let you know how it worked out, Paul. On second thought, maybe I’ll toss the veggies and drink the sauce like wine with a little cheese on the side. :P

If I ever find the guy who gave pasta all those calories I’ll put him through one of those pasta wringer thingies. :x

A little earlier I was sorting through some tool chests, consolidating the stuff in them. I was actually able to empty one to use for parts, etc.

That’s great, Glenn. I could do that all day everyday, especially with delinquent nuts and bolts. I try to stay organized, but I could do with more workspace. Of course that would probably multiply the problem.

The thing about pasta is if you are going to eat it, it's best to try to burn it off afterwards. It's not good to just sit on it. A lot of athletes will eat it for fuel for running or swimming, because it's good in that aspect.

You are so right here, Paul. Being active is a huge advantage for being able to eat more of the right things. However, it sometimes works in weird ways.

When I was in school I was very active in Track and Field. It was one of my favourite things. I also played middle guard for Jr. football. In a particularly active year of sports, I showed up for team tryouts. I was grossly underweight for the football position, and yet I ate like a typical teenager. :?
In the 60s I thought of a career change, and the Mounties were on a recruiting drive which I explored because of my compatible military connection. Then, before deciding to leave my signature of acceptance off the dotted line to prevent me from possibly brown bagging in an RCMP Marauder on the lone prairie (I had other location preferences), I feared refusal until I was told that being 135 pounds with a 28 inch waist was no problem. They would bulk me up. :D Taking weight off candidates was more of a concern. After passing the other required tests, I needed to add two inches to my chest (to meet a normal and expanded total of 72 inches) to finalize the deal. One month of prescribed weight lifting with dumb bells and daily swimming did it! I went for the physical and passed! I ate the same, and I did not do anything different than exercise. That said, it all depends on what the exercise is, and how you go about it.

Anything I eat goes right to the belly. Below that I can’t keep my pants up. Never could. Duck tape comes in handy. Skinny legs and no butt. Nowadays the medical community is saying that much of the stomach bulge has, at times, been misdiagnosed as fat alone. They are proving it to be related to gas. Of course, genes play a part too. Home boy Randy Bachman had that band operation for his stomach. How’s that for a pun? Lol.

Me? I’m still blaming that pasta inventor.

You ever have your gall bladder examined? You know, that could be an issue, with stones, and the like. If it is, that's a very serious issue.

Well, I went ahead and voted, then got my flu shot, so now I'm infected with the zombie virus, so forgive me if I have a sudden desire to eat your brains. :P I also figured out the bass line to Folk Implosion's "Natural One," which I'm going to do a cover of.

Nope! I’m not a stoner, but I dig the music, and I’ve been like a specimen for a medical school this year with different tests, and blood tests on a regular basis (so much so that I’m growing pointed ears and fangs that are getting ready for 2 White Castle sliders and sweet potato fries having come back from my walk).

Cold bitter day 0°C/32°F (feels Ike 19°F) with sleet and with a freeze the forehead 37kmh wind.

Wow! That's pretty scary and radical. And I thought chocolate was an urge. I’ll have to cover my head while I bite you a “Good evening”. Blah! :P

Going to pick up a stabilizer for a video camera to shoot a music video, and go to the store and get some ingredients to make Vietnamese pho. I haven't done that in over a year or so. Maybe go for a walk, too.
