I just drove through the panhandle Monday afternoon coming back from Tuscaloosa. Those folks are possibly in for a world of ****! 120 MPH sustained winds.
You be right on that, Glenn. I’ve been out for the day and will check in for an update after the American Music Awards. Last I heard the storm will reach all the way from the Gulf to the Canadian Maritimes albeit in a weaker form. That doesn’t make the action in the south east appear to be getting any better. Let’s hope they’re wrong.

Catching up on the Forums after a nice, busy day. The weather is beautiful so I got some outside chores done and helped my son work on his car. I've been feeling much better and I'm very grateful for it. After I finish here, I'll do my practice/playing schedule and hit the hay.

I didn’t get in my walk today, Marky. But, even though I got turkey dinner and strawberry shortcake, I managed to keep my calories below the limit earlier in the day so I survived. Phew! :P
No bench presses with the Strat today, so thanks for filling in.

Yeah, I've seen the news reports. It's supposed to rip into North Carolina, too. They just got over getting hit. It looks like you're looking pretty unscathed at your part of Florida, though. At least for now.

That's good to hear that you're doing better. 8)

Glad to hear you’re back on the playing field, Marky. I hope you’ll soon hit it out of the park.
A lot can happen over night. I’m going to reintroduce myself to the world today by getting out of bed checking the morning news and grabbing a coffee. Then I’m going to spend time getting my messy office downstairs into shape so I can get things done in a practical fashion. It seems no matter how many times I put it in order it likes to get disorganized quickly. Sometimes I think there’s a gremlin in that room that comes out when I’m not there.

Thanks, Paul and FSB. It's great to feel good. It's something that I think many of us take for granted (including me) until something happens.

It's another beautiful day and I have the windows open to a nice breeze and singing birds. Today I'll be working on my son's care and practicing. I'd like to learn some new songs too, but I'm not sure which ones, yet.

Amen to that, Glenn. Our prayers are with those that do.

Yeah, they got pretty FUBARed around there today. Category 4 strength, almost Category 5. It looked pretty bad. I still know people around the St. Petersburg area, which probably got a taste of it, too. I haven't been on Facebook to check up on anyone, yet.

That Hurricane was so large, In SE FL we had some very light feeder bands from it, before it moved further north inland. Light rains, and a little higher breezes, nothing to almost be out of the ordinary for here. Michael organized, and strengthened so quickly.

It's been raining all day around here, so I didn't go out for a walk. Pretty much didn't do anything today.

It was really cold today (low 30s) and the girls went to see Gaga at the movies. Because I missed my walk today for my cardio exercise I checked out my dexterity to see if my arm and breathing returned well enough to play the traps. Pretty good, but out of breath a little sooner than I would have liked. About 15 minutes non stop full blast solo (compared to earlier pain and 5 minutes before repair) I’ll work on it, and hopefully that will improve. I did find an app that calculates the 68 calories lost though. That means an extra cookie.
Tomorrow, I’ll lose calories with the Strat for another cookie. :D
Sheesh! What a guy won’t do fo a cookie after a salad. :?

That's a nice improvement, FSB. Congratulations!

I just finished a 90 minute session and I'm pooped. Time for TV and sleep.
