There should be some great plane rates and hotel deals for the rest of us.

Makes perfect sense to me, NOT. No insult intended, but that is a severe case of convoluted logic IMO.

I just got back from a walk. I'm going to chill out for awhile, then go out and get some Chinese takeout when they open up.

I looked up sharks in South Carolina. The statistics always boast of how few deaths occur, and seldom about the injuries which vary. It is true that sharks get a bum rap, and that the odds of an attack are less than other hazards. Still, that doesn't make it safe, especially around marinas and wharfs where discarded fish and other refuse and baitfish finds it’s way. Certainly no chance of Sharknado happening with the hurricane, and the storm will keep them in calmer waters; but, I certainly wouldn’t be wading in the water at Myrtle Beach and others in the near future.

I swam in the Gulf Stream in the middle of the Atlantic when crossing the ocean. We had porpoise and outlooks with guns; however, once the storm dies down South Carolina’s beaches are likely to be a dinner plate for sharks.

So instead of swimming, I’m going for a walk later today after packing the patio gear away for the season.

The above I wrote earlier today. I’m very sad to say that I just learned what tragedy seldom occurs happened today.

Ironically, this past August 15 a 61 year old barely survived an attack (believed to also be a Great White) in Cape Cod.

Maybe, we should be paying more attention to the sharks instead of the swimmers. I’m sure those big fins are paying attention to us.

I guess it comes down to the fact that the ocean is shark territory. We are outnumbered, and they only let us use it or not.

I'm doing some laundry, then I'm going to put in some serious bass time, probably with the violin bass, since I'm in the mood for that sort of sound.

I just finished a two-hour playing/practice session and I'm pooped. I think it's time for my first nap. :)

Sounds like I’m getting a lot of practice, Marky. Actually , I hope to soon. I need it. It’s been a couple of months since I’ve been able to do it. I hope you enjoyed your Siesta.

Today, my modern Italian leather made in China pedestal man recliner decided to call it quits. It looked good, but they don’t build many offshore items to last like yesteryear. Sad to say, it was like saying goodbye to a good friend. It was super heavy. Certainly not anything Mrs. FSB or I could handle while assembled. I don’t give up easily. After figuring out how to get the pedestal removed without special tools, and managing to get the back off, I rolled the rest out the front door, and down the steps where I loaded it onto a 2 wheel dolly. I’m still not supposed to do any crazy lifting (yet), but nobody said couldn’t rock and roll that chair.

 Rock and roll sounds good and I bet you're anxious spank the plank, as Billy Gibbons said, ASAP but, I don't mind filling in for you at all. How's your hand and arm coming along?

That's a bummer about your chair. They sure don't make them like they used to.

I'm about ready to call it a night after a busy day.

Hey there, Marky. I love that saying “spank the plank”. The hand and arm are doing much better, thanks. Don’t give up filling in for me yet. :D
I don’t have luck with offshore chairs. My office chairs at whatever price seem to last a few years if that. Everything from rusting out to a lot of cheap plastics and broken pedestals. I almost had a terrible accident when one broke throwing me into a rack of gear. Then there's the crap wood frames or the pretty much useless foam seating. This one was not cheap, (I say that because price is not a good indicator of quality) but we got a great deal through my wife’s work. The metal/wood frame broke from stress because the bolts holding the pedestal had sheared off from the sharp holes in the metal base blah blah. In the end Mrs. FSB is looking forward to a new chair. I get to break it in, I hope I don’t break it.

Went for a walk, went to the store, and now just listening to music and browsing the internet. In other words, screwing off. :P

Yesterday I and Mrs. FSB (she’s a keeper) did a little fall work in the yard. My chores have fallen behind over the summer, but winter is soon to be here, and for the first time in a long time I said “Phht!” to some projects that can wait till next year.
Tomorrow the cardiologist and I do the treadmill stress test again. So for a day I’m not supposed to exercise or do anything of the sort, and I guess that means a lazy day with tunes and major updates of two phones and a iPad. Should be interesting. :)

Enjoy your day of rest because, after your stress test, your doc is going to give you the good-to-go signal!
I'm being lazy, so far, but I made a commitment to myself to play/practice every day so that is next on my agenda. I found that, even if I don't feel like playing, I'm always happy that I did. :)

Thanks, for the encouragement , Marky. It is appreciated as I try to keep positive and motivated like I’m used to doing, but I’m looking forward to having loose screws tightened to where I’m comfortable. I have great support from all over so i’m a very fortunate and a lucky fella all the way around. Friends and family can’t do enough for me and It keeps me humble. Thank you again. Looking forward to my bucket list, and practicing, playing, and writing. I think I may need reincarnation to catch up. :P
Keep up the practice, Marky. You’ve been getting a lot in, and I’m sure you are noticing the difference. You can’t go back and recover lost opportunities and time. I wish I could. Still I have admiration for those who play better and satsfaction that there are those who play worse.
C'est la vie. C'est amusant.

FSB

I’m werkin’ on it. What I miss in skill I make up in performance. Nah nah. Think Keith Richards and Keith Moon as they would be without skills. Maybe, I’ll change my name to Keith.
