Thanks for the good wishes, FSB. Unfortunately, we are in the Emergency Department now.

Good job avoiding the scam!

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully, everything will turn out OK.

That's pretty cool. 8)

Changing a couple of the calendars from July to August. July sure seemed to go by pretty quick. Time just keeps movin' along.

It was this month 30 years ago that I first picked up a bass guitar, and started my musical journey, if you want to call it that. I remember the first bass I ever bought was a Peavey Fury bass, because it was the cheapest in the store, and a Fender Sidekick 30 amp.

I didn't spend too much, since I wasn't even sure I was going to stick to doing it, since I didn't even have any musical inclinations, other than a love for Led Zeppelin, and music like that. I was always artistic, though. I originally wanted to be an author, or a cartoonist, but I found this was the perfect medium for that type of expression.

It's hard to believe it's been that long, but it has.

I’m laying in a hospital bed reading and writing on the Forum. I’m hooked up, auto blood pressure wrap, a tight air compressor hard plastic bracelet to seal a hole in my wrist (swollen hand), , oxygen nose and monitoring gear, and an IV. Wires are removed from the other gear.

All this after no bypass :D and three inline stents correcting at or near 100% blockage at the heart in the main artery. I should be good to go for some time as the rest in this department, as far as I know, is okay for the moment. That’s music to my ears. :D

I and another guitarist are being monitored overnight, but there’s a donut shop downstairs. :P

Cheers!

Sorry you had to go through that. Hopefully, you won't have any more issues.

Wonderful news, FSB! You had a nearly completely occluded LAD(?) artery! Wow, you are a lucky fellow, and so are we, that are still around. You'll be flying up and down stairs in no time, now! Enjoy a donut for me.

Thanks, Marky. Appreciated.

Technology and the masters of their trade are pretty amazing. All of which make me thankful, and I have a happy wife along with it. For those who find themselves in the same predicament, and there are many, yes there are risks, but, except for the freezing at the insert poInt, absolutely no pain during the operation in most cases. It is the better alternative by a long shot. In my case, prior to the operation. the surgery team rocked it out in the OR with music while setting up. 8)
Best to all you Lizards,
FSB

Your fresh donut was delicious, Marky.
