I’ve had a busy day and am tired, and just when I was to call it a day I was presented with an unknown device needing a driver that won’t reinstall or find another. Without finding its identity I’m stuck, and probably will spend days on YouTube and the Internet. I think I’ll pass on any space travel, I’ve seen enough glitches and gremlins at all price points and amongst several OSs. Thank you. :?

Hey, Glenn. I sympathize as I too am doing the dance with one old, one new iPhone, and a PC that doesn’t qualify for a recent iTunes update so transferring data was brutal and the rest is no picnic as it’s new to my wife. Oh yeah, having no phone jack must have been designed by someone with no ears. I have really good gifted Bluetooth headphones, but my past heavily phone dependable brother with his brain tumor (and others I am aware of) makes me skeptical, so I avoid or limit use of wireless cans and pods cool as they are. Not preaching, just not convinced based on usage and location of the injuries. I’ve followed it for decades with second hand acquaintances. Changing around once in a while is sure to help. YMMV

We just got back from the Apple Store. The guy checked the Bluetooth antenna in the iPhone, reset some thing in the car audio. We got back to the car, and followed his instructions for pairing the the car, and the wife's new iPhone. TAADAAHH! it works, and she has the complete contact list loaded in from the iPhone as well. She's happy. The world is good, and it's one less thing that I'm blamed for. Like, WWl, the attack on Pearl Harbor, WWll, The Korean War, Vietnam, etc. WHEW! Image

Glad you got the Bluetooth blues off your list, Glenn. Bravo! Score one for da guys. I keep telling the fellas that wives have this secret school that teaches them how to handle hubbies. I know it’s true, because there’s just too much similarity amongst them. Shopping, dining, bar hopping, being Mr. Handyman, and more only lasts so long. Where did we go wrong? In my Dad’s day they once had no credit card shopping, and hubby had the remote for one TV that had few chick flicks, and shows specifically for women. Now they have the Internet. We fellas are doomed.  Just kiddin’. I have four TV remotes; but guess who has to do the setups and keep fixing the connections. Yep! We fellas are doomed.

It's time for some practice and maybe I'll record a track or two.

Today I got up early for me. 9:30a.m.; did breakfast and sorted some guitar gear out and put it on my rack. Once my desk was cleared I pulled my computer out and down and cleaned it inside and out. Pulled the fan and cooling block and cleaned out all the fins. Tool off all the thermal paste on the block and processor and put some fresh on. From there it was cut the grass and trim and take the trash to the curb. Listening to a little Dave Matthews before I wash the day off.
