Sounds good to me. I made turkey burgers for the first time on the charcoal. Picking out the feathers was a challenge. The turkey wouldn’t cooperate, and now I’m not sure if I should pack the bun with dressing. Yep! Next time it’ll be hot dogs.

Going to plug in the violin bass into the Fender amp and jam out for awhile. It's supposed to rain, so it doesn't look like I'll going for a walk.

It didn't rain after all, so I went out for over 2 hours, and now I'm going to jam out for awhile on the violin bass.

Just had waffles and real maple syrup. Now I’m going to finish up some vocal recording although maybe I shouldn’t.

I woke up to Mrs. FSB’s coffee and poached eggs on toast being brought to my bedside.

Phew! A reminder.
It’s our 47th anniversary. :D

Jacked up lawnmower removed and sharpened the blades, greased the steering and pulley drives, put the blades back on and cut the grass.

Way to go, Mike. It’s a good practice to follow for sure. I usually do that maintenance too. I didn’t sharpen the blade this year, however:

Yesterday, I did cut the grass and, because I was on a roll, that’s not all that was cut.

As an anniversary gift for my wife I cut off my winter goatee to get a summer tan, and to put a smile on my wife’s face. She hasn’t stopped smiling since, and said that she’s happy to have her husband back; but, the boyfriend with the goatee can return in the fall.

Funny thing, I just cut 6 inches off my beard so my wife still knows it's me under there. I left about half an inch of fur on the face though.

Thank you, for your Anniversary best wishes, Marky and Spacewolf. Much appreciated.

We both had a great good weather day. Around here at this time things kinda wind down until July where celebrations and a ton of festivals and festivities are standard fare. Today was a dog day for all forms of entertainment so we became tourists in our own town visiting an all original and complete Seven Oaks log House (the oldest remaining home in Winnipeg), and it’s related store from the early 1850s.

That wouldn’t be, perhaps, that difficult to compare with early settlement elsewhere; but, here many necessities and treats had to be brought long distances by wagons across land, York boats on rivers (primarily the Red River - an extension of the Mississippi), and sea (often via the Hudson Bay), and with the trading posts and corresponding exploring companies which battled for territory and trade control at this location.

It would take a lot more than this post to tell of the wealthy owner. However, I found it interesting to see the large
original American square grand piano that traveled the river without legs. It’s total weight with supplied legs were in excess of the boat load. Ornate heavy metal replacement legs were fabricated and fitted at it’s destination. It was all very cool. :D

Excellent, FSB. It sounds like you guys had a nice day.

I just finished playing my Strat. I love that guitar so I think my SG is in temporary retirement. 8) I got a package of trem arm springs today so I replaced the one that I lost a long time ago. I don't use the trem much but it's better with the spring. That's about it for today except a little TV and then hit the hay.
