I don't have it yet, I'm waiting for one to come in from Fender. This is what it will look like. Image

Pretty exciting. I know a couple of basses waiting to introduce themselves to that baby. Should be a great matchup.

I've about taken all my meds for the morning with some OJ. Now, what's for breakfast?

Those two Jazzes should really pound playing through the Super Bassman / Bassman NEO 115.

It's supposed to rain today, so it looks like I won't be able to go for a walk, but I'm going to plug in the Ibanez and jam out. I might as well put some time into it and really break it in. I may or may not play the violin bass, as well.

Well . . . I don’t think marmalade is available so orange or pineapple would probably be substitutes. :P Then again, any flavour would be good. If the choice of Jello doesn’t work with toast there’s a simple solution. Throw away the toast.

I did wind up going for a brief walk before the weather decided to get too nasty. Now, I'm going to jam out for a bit on the bass.

Give it a good session. I think you did great by acquiring the Ibanez. 8)

I was thinking about Mr and Mrs. Nylon’s waffles and fried Spam. Mrs. FSB doesn’t like pancakes or waffles (I know. Weird, huh?). So, I’m getting up to make omlettes with kielbasa before she wakes up.

We got a new DirecTV satellite system installed today, upgrading from the old one. So now we have HD and DVR and all of that high tech crap. The cool thing is I can just set a program to watch and it will record all of them, if I want. I was using an old school VCR, which I had to do manually and was limited to only 6 hours of recording, which is what the tape size was, and I'd have to make sure it was set up right, so I don't accidentally record over something I didn't watch yet, or even forget to program the damn thing in the first place. Now, it's just set it and forget it, until I run out of storage, or just delete stuff. We just watch TV when we go to bed, anyway, and a select amount of shows. Sometimes, I'll watch a movie, or "The Walking Dead," when that's on, outside of that. I really don't watch a lot of TV, to be honest.

That’s great for you to be able to record without the vcr, Paul. It’s fun to record whole seasons of a series, and then watch them in a marathon. We’ll do that with Game Of Thrones, the Vikings, The Royals, and more. This works well for Friday or Saturday night at the movies per se when we gather nummies, munchies, and suckies, head to the family room in front of the HDTV rear screen projector which has a different vibe than our several LED screens. Sure beats the old days of returning rental DVDs, although there was a fun factor trying to get that newly released copy before some other dude got the last one.
