Hey cool signature, Paul. It's kinda hypnotizing.
Enjoy your walk and recording.
I'm gonna work on putting stuff away. :)

Did too much today, Marky. I had to get some soreness rubbed down, so I’m making a Not To Do list for tomorrow.
Cheers!

Yes, us old guys need a break. You don't need to make a Not To Do List. You could do like I do and just stare at a blank piece of paper.

I’m debating on doing what I want to do or writing my obligations and odd jobs to pull from a bowl.

Okey dokey. That didn’t take long. Yesterday was chores, so today it’s fun time with vocals, guitars, and such. I’ll fill the bowl with snacks and make ‘sghetti later. :P

Jamming out with the violin bass through the Fender Rumble. I rehearsed the song I'm supposed to record for a bit, and now just messing around. Maybe I'll rehearsed some more material we do as well, I don't know. I usually buckle down more on that when there's a show coming up, or I'm going to record something.

I did have to tweak the truss rod on the violin bass again. I was getting a little too much buzz with the 1st frets on the E and A strings, which I had trouble a couple of time with in the past. I guess the neck isn't the most stable on that bass, maybe because it's practically an acoustic instrument, and the temperature changes around here. I suppose I can't complain too much, since I only paid around $100 for the damned thing, and it's not like it's some $2000 Hofner, or something like that. I've certainly got my money's worth and then some.

Either go to the gym or for a walk, then probably work on music stuff.

Going to go for a walk and wait for my new bass to arrive. I'll, of course, have the obligatory pics to post at some point later. :P Hopefully, it won't be a dud, and I'll have to return it, but I'm relatively confident it should be OK, since Ibanez usually has decent stuff.

Enjoy your walk and your new bass, Paul. I have an Ibanez acoustic and if plays and sounds very nice. I think they make very good instruments. Have fun!

Thanks. 8) It hasn't shown up yet, but it should be here. Usually, those deliveries show up relatively earlier in the day. Yeah, I've have had and played a few Ibanez instruments, as well. I never had any complaints that I remember.

Getting ready to go out for dinner and then take the long way home, through the desert, on a beautiful night.

Going to go for a walk, then mess with my new Ibanez bass. It arrived in the late afternoon yesterday, but all I've done was tune it up, then play on it unplugged. I'll plug it in later, and take pics to post. It looks and plays pretty nice. 8)
