We got back a few hours ago from our daughter doing a solo at her choir job at a local church.

Thanks again for the kind words, and encouragement for my daughter's Operatic Endeavors. Things are starting to work better for her.

Last night's gig wasn't too bad, considering it could have been a lot worse. I had one too many !@$ bottles of bourbon before I went on, not factoring in the fact all I had to eat was a can of chicken noodle soup for breakfast a few hours earlier, so that hit me a little harder than I'd like, and I did screw up a couple of times. I'll be more careful next time with that. I like a little to calm my nerves, but I like to have my faculties together when I'm playing. This gig was kind of a low key, test the waters kind of thing, anyway. We really didn't have a lot of time to rehearse and plan things out, but I'd say we did pull it off.

If that was the only thing that wasn't to you're liking, you did GREAT! When something goes a bit off, and it's minor, and or not noticeable, slide on the ice. I've been back stage and heard some real, what the hell was that's at times. You even said this was one of you're gigs since the radio show two years ago. You did good man. Go For IT!

I guess the name for those tiny bottle of booze is derogatory, so they censored it. I wasn't cussing.

Yeah, I think we are our own worst critics to begin with. Hell, it's rock and roll, not rocket science.

She's getting more established over time. She's been giving some decent leads in the up coming Miami Music Festival this Summer.

I'm going to go out for a walk, then I don't know what I'm going to do later. We're on nights right now, but want to turn it to days, at least while we don't have a gig. We're planning on going to this music shop somewhere in Massachusetts, that the guitarist deals with, to put the Carvin cabs (he's bringing those from the rehearsal room in Boston) on consignment, and we decided to go ahead and try to put the Schecter bass on consignment, too. Apparently, this place is good to deal with, so hopefully we'll be able to make back some money on it. Plus, it will fun day out and perhaps a chance to play with some gear, since I haven't been to a shop in years. Yeah, that's how GAS gets going, doesn't it?

Couldn't go for a walk tonight, since winter decided to hang on longer and throw some nasty weather our way, at least one more time. Someone should barbecue that damned ground hog!

Anyway, I was messing around with the Telecaster, which I haven't done in awhile. It's good to keep that in shape, since you never know when I might have to play guitar.

I have to take my son to his doctor this morning. When I get home, I hope there is a package waiting for me containing a RAM upgrade for my laptop. It has 4GB in it now and I'm increasing it to 16GB to speed things up a bit.

Catching up on the Forum, smiling that my PC doesn’t have to go in for a pro repair nor do I have to reinstall the Operating system and lose programs and files. Major difficult audio problem solved and I get to crash now.

Just back from my walk and did some grocery shopping. It was pretty cold this morning, but at least it wasn't snowing or raining for a change. Now, I'm checking my social media and listening to the Beatles.
