I'm down to only three plugins that are still giving me PITA. I think I followed all the steps correctly but Studio One does not "see" them. They don't show up in the Effects Tab. My mic should be arriving today and I plan on setting things up this afternoon so, on with the show. :)

I'm going to have to work out in the house, instead of being able to walk, since it's just been too dangerously cold around here. It's 6 degrees, with a wind chill of -8 degrees, and the rest of the week doesn't look as promising, either. I think it wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't as windy. That's what cuts through you, and makes it worse. It's actually below average temperatures for around here. You might get this in February, but not now. Then again, there's been crazy weather all year, with the hurricanes, and all of that. Lot of rain, too.

Pouting and wishing I won the lottery. There’s still too many toys that catch my eye when I have to go to my local music store. I thought the toy virus would fade away when I turned 13. Wrong! It’s now in the danger zone.

I managed to warm up enough that I was able to put a little time in with the hollow body bass through the Fender amp. I hadn't really played too much at all in the past couple of days, other than that.

Is it warm inside your house, Paul? Old houses can be a bit drafty. I wish you the best in your unseasonably cold weather. We had an extremely dry year.

I walked into my local music store to buy a guitar wall hanger for the Strat, and saw 14”, 16”, and 18 “ LP Raw Street drums being cleared out. I’m told they will no longer be available and a search seems to verify that.

For years, long story short, I’ve had double toms but no floor tom as a matching one for my 6Os kit had passed me by until it was next to impossible to get one. Any that were available were quickly snapped up or in poor shape. Any old mismatched oddity wouldn't do. In fact it became a hobby with Mrs. FSB to find one, and when she saw the LPs she coaxed me into thinking about them. She’s a keeper.
Well, after seeing and hearing these extremely versatile and wide range tuneable LP beauties in galvanized steel and black rims and legs, and sleeping on it, I bit the bullet, brought in the largest of my smaller toms for comparison, and today I bought the 16” to add to my recording needs (and exercise).

A solo on the kit with the LP completed the acceptance. :D
I wasn’t going to mention this here on a guitar forum, but since the Strat was the motivation to go to the store in the first place, I thought I’d give it a credit. :D

Note: For the drummers here in the Forum - The street drums in the video were damped. Without damping the drums are powerful. They do not exhibit ringing of a no bottom skin floor tom, unless they are close miked.

As for my Strat, it got some new picks and the wall hanger is on order. When it arrives, the Strat will take center stage in my hands and right next to a vintage Strat tin sign on the wall. :P

That's awesome, FSB. Congratulations! It must feel like scratching an itch to have the complete set you have wanted. :)

Thanks, Marky. Yes, it really does feel like scratching an itch. I know I could have probably gone to a full new drum set earlier on; but, there’s not so much reason for it at my age today. After years of searching, I now have a great sounding old school vintage and a new school set that looks pretty good too, having seen others on YouTube mixing these LPs with some pretty non-identical awesome outfits was a help in my decision. There are also some well known groups using them for floor toms. I did consider an additional 18” (even if the cost was a struggle at this time); but, I don’t have the space as is. So, I’m good to go with a spare drum mike and a smile to boot. Thanks, again. :D

I'm thinking there might be a chance that it's "warm" enough to go for a walk this morning, but it's also supposed to snow a little bit. Either way, I have to put together these clothes rack things to replace the ones we bought previously that weren't that sturdy, and one of them fell over, probably because there was too much clothes in it. What do you expect from something that's $25 from Walmart, though? :P However, I think I can still utilize the drawer components of the old wardrobes, since there is a top to them, and stack the two on top of each other to make a makeshift dresser. If not, just have them side by side. So, there will be some Russian rigging going on today.

The first floor is drafty, especially where the office is. There are some sort of gaps near the floor, in which I'm thinking there's cold air coming from the basement, that we stuffed some beach towels in as a temporary fix. We have to get that sealed off, maybe that will help. I think the office used to be some sort of elevator, or so I was told. It's a strange place that's been chopped up and put back together, for various means, over the past 135 years that it's been around.

Congrats on the music store find! 8)
Thanks a lot, Paul. That little piece of luck still has me smiling. Now if I can get rid of the GAS that seems to be going around I’ll feel even better. After all, GAS is getting more expensive and electric is too.
Keep warm my friend. I heard your area is as cold as 1962. I was in Nova Scotia back then and I remember that year it wasn’t pleasant. We literally got snowed in for days. I had to shovel out from the top window of a two story house. So it must be pretty cold for you at this time.
