Mrs. FSB did a great job decorating our tree as she always does; but. I’m thinking of making her job easier by getting one of those whole house exterior projector lamps and just shining it on a bare tree in our living room to save the work of hauling in the decorations from the shed next year. I hope I don’t get a Halloween one by mistake.

I just got back from a big walk, so I have the extra calories for a pizza to try from a place that we'd never been to before, but heard about it. I'm still doing the diet thing, so if I do have something that's caloric, I make sure I burn that off.

You know, FSB my neighbor has a couple of those shining on his house, along with his other lights, and they look pretty darn good. Just the ticket for a disabled guy who has the Christmas Spirit. But, I don't want to look like a copycat. :| Hey, when you get to our age, all decorations are good. Doesn't matter if they're Halloween, Valentine's Day or whatever and whenever.

Yup. They have a place, Marky. I just don’t think they’re meant to light the tree inside though. :P
Have you seen the projection from inside a house to what appears to be a blind like screen for the picture window in the living room? It projects a moving Santa Claus that looks like he’s in the living room and he moves about naturally.

In this neighbourhood every year someone has a full size Santa mannequin that is animated inside the house waving as cars go past a busy street.

I used to paint Christmas scenes on our home windows with and without my Dad. The first year when my family moved to this city my father and I painted for Christmas in our newly moved in home. A door bell rang and the municipality presented us with a gift for winning first prize in a decorating contest that we were totally unaware of. That was a Christmas treat and a welcoming to remember. :D
Outdoor decorations are difficult in this weather unless you start early and tear down later. Unfortunately, some not only leave decorations up till spring, they keep them lit long after the holiday. Between retail and the extended light show it kind of alters the spirit.

We make up for it with a traditional family open house on Christmas Eve.

As for decorating or not decorating . . . enjoy the bling and sparkle, but remember that the true light of Christmas shines from within.

Here’s wishing your Christmas light and the other Forumites’ stays bright throughout. 8)

We used to spray some white "stuff", I don't know what it was, through stencils onto our windows that depicted holiday scenes like snowmen, snow flakes, Santa, etc. It was lots of fun.

I just finished beef fajitas, and now I’m sipping a little red vino and eating home made chocolate chip and pecan cookies. :D

I did some adjusting to my violin bass, by lowering the bridge the best I could (it's one of those wooden bridges that are typically on archtop guitars, so there isn't a hell of a lot you can do with it,) and tweaked the truss rod to straighten it out a tiny bit. I had originally messed with it, because it developed a buzz on the 1st frets on the neck, but I think in the process, it made the action a tad bit high. So now, everything seems to be set pretty good, with nice action, and I was playing around with it tonight for a couple of hours through the Fender Rumble 350 combo. It sounded pretty good, and I didn't even touch the Precision Bass, at all, or the Jazz. That's how good that thing is playing now. I really do need to get a case for it, but $$$...
