I was playing on my Precision Bass, while I was watching "The Walking Dead" for two episodes, so for 2 hours. I'll be calling it a night in a few.

I just came back from a walk and went to the store to get some things. I think I'm going to be doing some recording later. I did some last night, as well.

I'm just sitting here, somewhat reflecting to myself, that it's December already. The year for me has slipped away somewhere. Or at least it seems that way to me anyway. Some Beatles songs can get me in these moods.

I know what you mean, Glenn. I just got an email asking if I’d be in to visit the day before New Year’s with former members of my broadcast station. Sounds like fun, but I left the company and province in ‘85 and, although I remember some, seen some since, most of the names escape me. I’ll probably be the oldest so I’ll use that as an excuse.

No elliptical machine for me today, Paul. I just walked our biggest mall several times looking for that one present that needs to be mailed away to my Mom. Hurray! Job done.

Now I’m pooped and I’m kicking back putting on the lost pounds with a bag of chocolate raisins.

I remember when I worked I thought each work day would never end; but, then the days off came and they seemed so much shorter. Now in retirement I still find that when I’m busy the day can drag; but, when not being busy the time speeds by. I guess vacations are like that for some. The best we can do is to enjoy the time we have. Here today. Gone tomorrow. Enjoy your day.

I'm going to go for a walk and maybe I'll be able do some recording later. I'll do some practicing, at least.

Ran some mic lines and hooked up an older class A stereo amp along with speakers to the mixer, and routed all cables under carpet, including for the three pedals to the Mustang amp and the two TCH vocal pedals, as the last part of a reorganized family room that doubles for recording. Except for some tweaks and checking the mixer hookups I’ll be able to get back to playing and recording with less awkwardness. Whoo Hoo!

I even took time out to do a little Strat noodling. Life is good.

Having all mike gear, lines, and mixer colour coded and labeled is the key to easy peasy organizing. IMHO. But, I know most of you have known that for some time.
