My son and I just got home from an annual local car show. There were about 300 cars on display ranging from 1950's Fords and Chevys that were beautifully restored, lots of outstanding 60's and early '70's muscle cars, hot rods, beautiful classic pick ups, a few rat rods and old Mercury chop tops. My next-door neighbor and friend runs the show and he displayed his two dynamite El Caminos. I cruised all around in my power wheel chair and we had a great time.

Getting ready to take a nap after and fun day at the car show. Tonight I am gigging with my friends across the street. I'm looking forward to it. 8)

Classic cars and music. Pretty good way to spend the day, Marky. :D

I played the Precision Bass for about 2 hours, while I was watching two episodes of "The Walking Dead" and did a photo shoot with my girlfriend for new pics for music business stuff. Tomorrow, we're going to a concert and meeting up with one of the bands that are playing there for more music business stuff. There's a bunch of big stuff on the horizon, but I'm not going to say anything about it until it happens.

Wow, that sounds really exciting Paul. I can't wait to hear more. :D

I’m going to shake the rattles, grab the smudge and waft the smoke with an eagle feather, and throw some bones in your favour, Paul.

Chilling out right now, but I am going to play some bass for a bit, then deal with some laundry, and go for a walk. The gig I went to last night was pretty fun, and the venue had good sound. We finally ordered a GPS system for the car last night, since we've been going into Boston quite a bit, and if you don't know your way around there, which we don't, it's real easy to get lost. It's kind of a cluster you know what. :P Interesting place, though.

I finished a little while ago changing out the truss rod cover, and restringing the SG Std. Walnut bass.

Made some spaghetti, grabbed the toasted fergasa bread from the Italian bakery, and now I’m finishing a little vino before bed.

Life is good. :D

Going to try and get back on a morning/daytime schedule. Between the winter-like weather we've been having the past few days and getting dark early, it's getting pretty depressing around here. I need to see some daylight and hopefully see any fall colors around, if there are much of any.

The best thing is there’s leftovers for today. Marky. :D
But, right now I went through rush hour traffic this morning to be greeted by Fender bender conditions. Haha. Cars were slippin’ and sliddin’, but I made it unscathed to the dealer to get tires changed, and now I’m back home listening to surf tunes and futzing with digital and legacy A/V gear with too many or not enough adapters or outputs. Anytime you disconnect or reconnect from a cable whole house PVR system it’s now so defensive it can be a PITA (at least in this part of the world).

The manuals tell you what they need to; but, this is not the first surround system for me, however, it is the first one with video. Inputs and outputs marking is not the best (inconsistent), and until it’s hooked up you can’t see or hear it work. If it’s hooked up right or wrong same thing. Add the fact that it’s in the Family Room/Home studio and I’m trying to make it easy for Mrs. FSB to work which strays from the norm. ‘You know it ain’t easy’, as John would have said. I’ll get it - or not (not because I have lots of big and small mobile broadcast experience . . . ‘cause I ain’t a quitter) - just a w(h)iner :P

Good to hear you made it home safe and sound and now you're ready for winter with your snow tires!
I know you ain't no quitter and you'll be up and connected in no time.
Have fun!
