Watching Pink sing "Dear Mr. President". This was back in the G.W. Bush days but it still pertains (hopefully to a lesser degree) IMHO.

We did a family thing today, and went to see the new movie out, "Geostorm". A pretty good movie.

Glad you had a good family day, Glenn. “Geostorm” was panned by the critics, and it’s not unusual for the critics to be wrong for a variety of reasons.

I read the plot and it sounds applausible. Having discussed it with on board meteorologists, I’ve known since my 20s this concept and limited practice of manipulating the weather. So, I can see where this movie could have tweaked the interest.

You might like this article:

I think, as more is found from mistakes as well as correct assumptions, there are encouraging possibilities on how some weather can be somewhat managed. At least that is the Global Warming gist. Controlling side effects is the problem, and Mother Nature as we know is a powerful lady.
Incidentally, at the current rate of healing, that ever present ozone layer should make a full recovery by 2065!

I watched the trailer and it looks like my kind of movie. As FSB said, the critics were not kind but 83% of Google users who saw it liked it. Sounds like you had a nice day with the family, Glenn. :)

I didn't go for a walk, but I did a total of 70 minutes on the elliptical machine, which was the most I ever did in one day, but I separated in with two sessions, with a break in between. I also just got done playing on my Precision Bass for an hour, and I'm thinking about messing around with the violin bass and getting back to listened some early Rolling Stones albums.

I went ahead and took a group photo of the Squier Family, which consists of a Vintage Modified Precision PJ Bass, Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom, and Vintage Modified Jazz Bass. Here they are:

Thanks! I did mention a while back that I wanted to put them in a group photo, so I finally did it. 8)
