Sounds pretty cool. Easy peasy is always preferable. But, I checked the crystal ball, and I see IKEA in our future; but, I think that ball is broken.

I don't think the furniture at IKEA is bad itself, especially since you could make it your own and paint it, but putting it together is one huge pain in the arse. I can see why people pay other people to put the stuff together. Personally, I'd rather work in a bomb disposal unit than do that. :P

My wife and daughter are sleeping in a bit this morning, so I fed the dogs, and got them squared up. It's still nice, and quiet in the house. For now anyway. Image

Nice and quiet until Mountain is cranked and the Fender is fired up. :P

It's nice and quiet here too. Sitting in my recliner with the patio door open, listening to the birds chirping and enjoying a cool morning. I've been away for awhile but it's nice to catch up by reading what you guys are up to. I know the IKEA feeling very well. I bought a work bench from Harbor Freight and still haven't finished putting it together. Next, I have to measure and drill pilot holes for screws. I wish I had known what a project this was going to be before I bought it. :o
I'm glad that you guys are doing well. It's good to hear. :D FSB, another Chilliwack concert? Very cool!

Yes, Marky. I listened to some Chilliwack performance on You Tube from 2016 and the vocals were lacking as if they had been overworked on their tour.

Well, I have to say you can’t always go by the video performances as Chilliwack’s vocals were not only as good as ever, in some ways they were better. Bill Henderson killed it.

They also gave away what looked to be a new Classic 70s Olympic White Strat with signatures along with tickets for other concerts included in the package.

Boo Hoo! Our tickets weren’t drawn, but that’s okay. We still had a great time. :D

Sorry you didn't win that Strat but I'm glad you guys had a great time!

Thanks, Marky. I didn’t feel as bad as the first drawn ticket holder who might have when they didn’t claim it in time, and a second draw was made. There was some consolation at least that I own a pretty nice Strat; but, another would be welcomed too.

I just got back from my walk and now having some coffee. After I check my email, I'll put in some bass time with either the Precision, or violin bass, maybe even both.

I’m looking at Paul’s creepy avatar. I think I’ll call that skull head Yorick. :P
What say you, Paul?

That works. :P I found that online looking for a GIF of something else, and figured it would make a nice change for the season. :P

I just finished washing some dishes after dinner. Also got some of the leftovers out of the fridge also.

My usual routine after coming back from my walk, then I'll put in some time on the Precision Bass, and probably ignore my violin bass again. :P Actually, I did play it for a while a couple of days ago, so I don't feel too bad about that. I think what it is, is I haven't lately been in a mood for 60's music, like the Beatles, or Dave Clark Five era stuff, so I haven't been gravitating towards that bass, which has that kind of sound. When I am listening to it, I play it a lot more. I guess it's like some immersive thing for me to want to sound more like what I'm listening to at the time. It also breaks up the creative process, since I approach each instrument slightly differently.
