That sounds pretty good. I had a Pinkberry Mango frozen yogurt out on my walk tonight. It's good, although rather anti-climatic in comparison to the Cold Fusion Gelato. I suppose it's "healthier." :P

Ice cream, yogurt. gelato. It's all good with some better than others. IMHO/YMMV A funny thing about being healthier. I spent time on a dairy farm where ice cream was made the old fashioned way. Unhealthy? A lot of those old farmers with ice cream stains on their overalls would prove that wrong. :P

All that chemical concoction is fake ice cream; but, dang it all, it's hard to turn down. :P

I'm thinking that maybe all of those preservatives will leave you with a good looking corpse, since they do preserve things, at least. :P At least you'd have the Egyptians beat, if someone decides to dig you up a few thousand years from now like them. :P

Listening to some live early Pink Floyd and I was jamming out with the P Bass. I've realized it was usually listening to Pink Floyd, or actually watching "Live At Pompeii," which causes GAS for a P Bass in the first place. Watch something like "Echoes, Part " on there, with a close up of Roger Waters jamming out on his P Bass, then you might understand. "Man, I got to get one of those basses." Of course, it doesn't mean you're going to automatically sound like them, but it's fun to try. :P

Right now, I have the exterminator here doing a yearly preventative treatment.

What kind of prevention do you need, Glenn?

I was just sitting on the patio when I noticed plenty of hornets flying in an out of a bird house seated on top of a hanging flower post I built. The bought bird house hole seems to be oversized so that may be a factor. Even worse it's by the shed door.

I had to get them out. First I sprayed water from the hose thinking I could flood it. That did help. but the hornets kept coming back. Not having anything readily available, I found some Pyrethrin powder. Problem was it had to be close contact as I could not use the squeeze bottle from a distance. I saw my chance and bravely went to it, and then I shook out some powder stepping back a few times. Good thing, because inside a hive had been built! Luckily I did not get stung. That will be the end of those pests (until they relocate) and that bird house as it is. So much for bird houses, and we have a collection. It's not necessarily for the birds. :P

Now that's funnee, Paul.
My problem is that once the archeologists get finished digging there won't be any room in the museum for little ol' me.

Unless it's the Rock and Roll HOF. Nope! No room there either.

A can of WD-40 and a lighter does wonders for dealing with hornets. :P I actually did that one time when I worked for my dad's lawn service, and there was this customer's house that had a wasp nest on their fence gate, and the little bastards stung me. They learned a valuable lesson not to piss of a Russian. :P It's probably not the safest thing to do, though. I don't think WD-40 intended their product to be used as a flamethrower.

As a kid I had a problem for a very short time playing with matches. I think it was the caveman genes in me, or boys will be boys excuse. Fortinately, before I did any damage, my dad took me aside, soaked some matches, let them dry and lit them. "Kaboom". (No big deal. I almost blew up the basement with a chemistry kit).

I like the idea of blowing up the flying pests; but, now that I'm cured I'll have to pass, Paul. Although, the English part of me says no, the Irish part of me says never say never, and the Canadian part of me says bring it on.
Besides I have some WD 40 that's been sitting idle for some time.

I use to have a chemistry set when I was a kid. Unfortunately/fortunately (depending on one's perspective, :P ) I never blew anything up with it. I remember mixing something together and it turned blue, but that's the extent of that, I think.

Didn't do too much today, other than the usual walk and I did jam on the P Bass for a bit. The more I play it, the more I like it. It's a great player. I guess I got lucky, especially since it happened to be on sale right at the time I got it.

You know the south FL bit. Palmetto bugs, ants, and some spiders. I don't have any real problems to deal with, and the guy I go through keeps it that way.

Good idea. I read about your Palmetto bugs. That was interesting. You'd think living here in a country with 40* below in the winter would take care of our little pests. Nope! We have plenty (fortunately, most outdoors). The usual biggies are of course ants. Every couple of years we get infested with 2 varieties of caterpillars that drop from trees, crawl on houses and most everywhere else including people. Fish flies can cover just about anything and it looks like a bible prophecy. We have ticks with Lyme disease and, although we release thousands of dragonflies to successfully reduce the mosquito problem (we're actually winning the war), the provincial bird is still the skeeter with the odd West Nile virus or encephalitis (no Zika so far). That bugs me.
FSB

The joke is that before coming here I grew up and lived on an island that had no mosquitoes (at least none that were known to exist) and that was pretty nice. :P

Hey, Mike. Sitting here on the patio kicking back with a new copper mug. News is that my favourite Irish pub's copper mug given to me reacts with acidic mix. :( So today I bought two different stainless copper clad Moscow Mule mugs. So far they work. A relative from out of town is bringing fish over to barbecue. Meet ya at the gate, Mike. Bring ribs. :P
Cheers!
