Waiting for the sun to go down a bit so I can go for a walk (it's a bad ozone/hot weather/whatever weather kind of day, which wouldn't be too healthy to walk around in like I do,) and listening to an album that I haven't listened to in many years by Blue Oyster Cult.

O.J. just won his hearing for parole! Whether it's going to be in Nevada or a move to Florida is yet to be determined.

I saw that. It's funny that I didn't even know about that when I left that comment.
Things are about to get interesting. Florida accepted O.J. as long as criteria are met.

One advantage of going to Florida is that the state has limitations to civil lawsuits and payouts. The fireworks are about to start, and the media has another ratings war.

After an afternoon of O.J. and a fill of my BBQ'd Sriracha lamb burgers, I'm now watching the TiCats play the Eskimoes. So far the good guys in black and yellow are winning. But, with the Eskies, and where 50+ yard field goals are easy peasy in the CFL, anything can happen, and it did! 31- 28 for the bad guys. Congrats, Eskies. Boo Hoo.

Hey! I just realized that for the whole day I had a football player on my TV.

Do laundry and looking forward to getting some Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt, which there is a shop along our walk, that's open until 1:00 AM tonight. We tried some yesterday and it was pretty good.

A fave in this house. Glad it's back. I heard they faked some scenes to keep the paparazzi from leaking the true plot.

I was ready to catch the first episode of this series; but, my better half wants to watch it marathon style when we have more recordings of the same.

Drinking Bacardi rum and watching some old school "Star Trek." So far, Kirk hasn't had his shirt ripped, but some Red Shirts have bitten it, according to tradition. :P

Satisfying my curiosity with a search for platinum and/or gun metal blue hardware (including frets) for Strats and Teles. Slim pickings to none. Maybe I'll start a trend. I'm not holding my breath though. :P

Woke up this morning and found a friggin' bat sleeping in the house. No clue how he got in here, so we had to deal with that. Then, we did some grocery shopping so I can make some burritos tomorrow for dinner, and now I'm chilling out, listening to some Led Zeppelin until it's time to go for a walk, and pick up some Chinese takeaway for tonight's dinner. Maybe I'll through in some bass time, too.

Hey there, Batman. Good on ya for getting that thing. Lucky for you Mrs. FSB isn't there to freak out. You deserve to kick back, Paul.
There was some mention as to somebody knowing somebody who had platinum frets, although I haven't found any (yet). I do have winter optimized platinum finish mags that take a beating. I'm guessing platinum finish with the right material may work for some hardware, but a pickguard and frets may or may not support that.

I haven't seen gun metal blue used for guitars, and it would also be awkward for frets and pickguards; but, along with some feasibility, others have searched for it, so there is an interest. Coloured metal and composites are nothing new, and money is always attached along with supply and demand. I've seen black and gold finish frets and all kinds of high priced fretboard inlays that take a beating so one never knows. The answer might be just around the corner. :)

Just came in from the garage after finishing up detailing my Corvette. Even with the AC on it was a bit warm. (101 degrees here today).
